Reminds me of the time I tried to introduce my wife to one of my supervisors from work and his wife. I got their names right, thank God, but I could not remember my wife's name to save my soul. After what seemed like an eternity, she had to fill in the blank for me.
I hade to quit French for Spanish... there is no French word for my name and HS teacher refused to let me just use my name. Talk about having an identity crisis lolol.
School used to teach you a lot of useful information and teachers & parents were partners in your emotional development as a human being. Then politicians got involved. Mostly conservatives, but some liberals as well. They turned schools into a numbers game and made funding rely on those numbers, all under the guise of “accountability.” They used this “accountability” ruse further to divide educators & parents, to make each group the villain in the other group’s eyes. Their goal? Privatization of the public school system, so school could be a for profit corporation. It won’t be long. They’ve almost reached their goal. 10-20 years from now there’ll be no public school system. Preschool through high school will be another way people put themselves into debt and the 1% get richer & richer. Homeschooling will be targeted eventually and done away with as well, because they won’t want anyone having any solution to not incur the expense of primary education.

Not if you aren't yourself useful. Succesful people in life find what they are useful at and learn how to be very good at it....be it learning at school or on the job. If you believe school won't teach you anything then quit and allow the real students not have to deal with the lames in class. Stop using daddys/Uncle Sam's $$$ to party and post influencer videos for 4 years. You are going to complain about your "education" anyway might as well get an earlier start at figuring it out.
