I already loved your videos but since you've started making these lengthy and more informative they just made me fall in love with your channel more. Just waiting for your videos on the Connect and Influence channel. Looking forward to it. And yeah you're the best.. 😍
That's very good Jay! It's always amazed me how learning the small things like using your pinky to get the card to pop up into your palm can make an entire trick SO GOOD. That's what I love about magic, it's worth studying and practicing to see the smiles it brings to others. Great work!
LöL :D I love your relaxed way of teaching :) ..but you know what? ..after I have seen soo many of your techniques, you couldn't fool me anymore with this plastic bag trick (i think) :P Even though I don't really intend to learn any "magic" tricks, I still love to watch your tutorials :) Greetings from Germany
This might be the my fav so far, great organic visual direction, combines so much and in a flow that make perfect since ...ps. dig your positive vibe : )
Love this one, Jay! (Full disclosure, I usually love them all) but I especially love when cards or objects pass thru an impossible barrier. Such a powerful move!
You put so much energy in to it man, and of course you share so much knowledge and experience! Just watching your moves is a lesson by itself. Thank you!
Here's an idea. . . use a force on the card selection ... do the ACR move with a DUPE and then you can show the card partially in the deck as it's pushed in ... then do the squaring up move. Love the trick, Jay ! thank you!
Sankey this is a very clever trick!! I love it, it is clean and clear also your explanation and tips make even better. That is why I love to watch your channel. Thank you.
Damn, and there i was looking for a secret hole in the bag or some hidden clingfilm and the whole time it was a palm! Fooled so bad I need to check my birth certificate to check im still me! Thanks for sharing this absolute gem, tis truly one of your best.
How about putting the deck in the baggie with the card loaded underneath face up on a table, give it a beat or two and then slowly pull the baggie so the spectators card shows underneath? Great trick, Jay, and an extra motivation to practice my top palm much more! Thank you for the Video, looking forward to your new channel! Greetz, Der Knebelini ;)
Hey jay, can u LOVE this effect, going to preform it for my school friends tomorrow to see what they think, do u think that you could teach the waterwheel double lift on Thursdays video? cuz I need a new double lift and it sounds really interesting. If u could that would be FABULOUS!!
My friend very nice and feels like true magic... is a difficult palming technique. Jay for amateurs what palm technique you recomend? Greetz from PERU. P.D. really enjoy your tutorials.
Hello, as you say you love coffee in the end, have you ever think about some routine in a coffee shop? I would love some recomendation if you have any video about that
I used to do magic years back now and I did learn how to do that trick with the pinky but used to it chance the face of a card never thought about using to palm a card like that
Would the effect be good if you dropped the deck inside and have all the cards fall in a chaos inside the bag as one seems to fall through, a little bit like your card through balloon routine, but just saying look if I drop the cards in the bag one cards melts right through basically?
What if, when you drop the card so it looks like it falls through the bag, you drop the rest of the deck too? Like the deck falls inside the bag while the chosen card falls through it. Would the effect be better or worse?
i feel like this same effect could be achieved much simpler without the one hand top palm or a double lift just by having a card selected put face up on top to be signed turned over and palmed, then just take the next card and put it in the middle....cont as normal that said I am very aware that you dont just teach tricks you teach skills and this is just one way to apply the skills you teach in this video
NO ONE keeps potpourri or tobacco (the NON-wacky one) in those little baggies they sell at smoke shops. Ya know the ones, they usually have little "leaves" or Grateful Dead bears on them. Well, I know I never did. 😆
Never have I seen a human being using a plastic bag as swimming trunks. Btw, what do you do with a signed card after the trick? Do you just give it away and continue preforming with a shorthanded deck?
Nor I have (and I'm quite sure that IF I had witnessed someone wearing a 'clear baggie swim suit' I would indeed remember it.) As for what to do with the signed card - I almost always leave it as a souvenir.
Two reasons. First, I don't want all my card magic videos to come across as commercials for original deck. And second, even though I perform a lot with the Tattoos deck, I also still perform a lot with good ol' classic Bike cards. Everybody recognizes them and immediately TRUSTS THEM.
I'm fairly certain nobody has used a plastic baggie as a piece of sports equipment. "Hey, let's play kick the baggie!" "Uh... pass." "Maybe some Ultimate Baggie, then?" "Dude, get some real sporting goods."
"What is something people NEVER do with a plastic baggie?" People never vanish the Statue of Liberty with a plastic baggie...at least I'm fairly certain of that....hmmmm.....
Actually, I use a plastic bag everytime I go for a stroll in the park or on the river banks, where I perform a lot of vanishes. Cigarette-butts magic, torn-and-then-stored wrappers, etc. ;)
Well after watching Chris shuffle cards I don't know if I trust Chris so much anymore......but anyways... whats something people NEVER do with a plastic baggie? Put it in their mouth and make it disappear!!!!
I already loved your videos but since you've started making these lengthy and more informative they just made me fall in love with your channel more. Just waiting for your videos on the Connect and Influence channel. Looking forward to it. And yeah you're the best.. 😍
BIG thanks Aniq!
These are the kinds of vids that make me wish I could like a video more than once
Thanksssss!
The more I watch you the more I appreciate your artistry and humor. Thx Jay✌️
The fact the king drops off from the deck in the tutorial adds so much for me!! The selected card has "knocked" it off on its way through 😯
said it before, saying it again, dude ure a monster! loving it, dont stop!
dude this trick is INSANE, no gimmicks purely sleight of hand, no cleanup, amazing reactions. thank you once again sir
#boom! :)
That's very good Jay! It's always amazed me how learning the small things like using your pinky to get the card to pop up into your palm can make an entire trick SO GOOD. That's what I love about magic, it's worth studying and practicing to see the smiles it brings to others. Great work!

Greetings from Germany
You rock! THX.
I've only ever done this with card to case, u just gave me so many ideas, like duck taping the deck of cards up and one card drops through
I always like your t-shirts Jay, but this is my favourite so far. I love The Black Keys.
that is such a great card Effect melting through a ziplock baggie. Your effects are fantastic. Would you ever consider doing live magic lectures?
Maybe one day Adam...
"We found out years ago that whenever I say 'warlock,' he sneezes." Come for the magic, stay for the humor.
I'm kinda obsessed with those kind of tricks too. ;)
Omg I love ur tricks especially the coin tricks I use them at school and with my family
1:45 "Card Cake".... Hilarious! You handle your slips in a hilarious way. You're the best Jay!
In a way, my 'slips' are all I have. #trulyME
Just love Sankey and his ideas on deception, he's resparked my fire for performing magic, thanks Sankey!
Thank YOU Freddie!
You’re amazing! You have not idea how many ideas I get from your tutorials for my job (language teaching academy). Thank you!
Love the trick, Jay !
thank you!
Love your magic. I keep on buying nailed as I always forget to take the picture out of my pocket before I do the laundry. Lol.
I've done that more than a few times! ;)
I personally liked the second trick better when the card shows up in the case. Thanks for the great tutorials
Something for eva - ree - BODY!
Great effect, Jay. Thanks. It would also look great if you let all the cards go while your hand was inside the bag, with a quick shake.
Many thanks amigo!
You are not you, you are me.
That was freaking sick Jay thanks for that post
My pleasure buddy!
Wow......this is a really creative and powerful effect
It def inspires some SWEET reactions! I hope you have fun with it!
I love your misdirection thing's!!!
You're simply a GENIUS.
So clever, how does someone think of something so amazing as this
No social life.
They sit in a secret laboratory under orders: you must invent new tricks. And if they want to survive they come up with new tricks.
Amazing video jay!! Loved the idea of putting some distance as the name suggests, oh and btw, card cakes 😂😂 hilariously handled
;)
You could potentially do it with different kinds of bags, adjusting it to different situations, and a cool hat!
Totally true!
Greetz,
Der Knebelini ;)
Hey jay, can u LOVE this effect, going to preform it for my school friends tomorrow to see what they think, do u think that you could teach the waterwheel double lift on Thursdays video? cuz I need a new double lift and it sounds really interesting. If u could that would be FABULOUS!!
wow this is a motivation to work on the one handed top palm
So glad to hear it.
Love the shirt 👍🏼 the trick is cool too 🙂
My friend very nice and feels like true magic... is a difficult palming technique. Jay for amateurs what palm technique you recomend? Greetz from PERU. P.D. really enjoy your tutorials.
When the baggie was on your head, it matched your t shirt colour!!
Bless you, Chris!
What a great trick I will define add this into my routine!
YESSSS!
SankeyMagic although I can't get the card palming without the audience seeing. Any tips?
Hello, as you say you love coffee in the end, have you ever think about some routine in a coffee shop? I would love some recomendation if you have any video about that
When i was in high school (1980?) Irv Weiner (Mr. FIngers) did an ambitious card routine for me where he palmed the card and pulled it out of his fly.
Can you please teach the water wheel double lift it sounds really interesting
Sure thang. Coming soon....
Awesome video as Always! You are amazing keep doing magic trick totourials and don't listen to the haters :)
Sorry for my bad english i'm from Iceland
amazing effect!
Thanks for all the great videos. Add a link to your top palm video? I can't find it. Thanks again for doing what you do, it's awesome!
I used to do magic years back now and I did learn how to do that trick with the pinky but used to it chance the face of a card never thought about using to palm a card like that
Wow nice palm .love it👌👌👌
Saweeeeet!
Ha I must practice that one. I have a standard double lift I learned from the 4 card trick to go with it
Would the effect be good if you dropped the deck inside and have all the cards fall in a chaos inside the bag as one seems to fall through, a little bit like your card through balloon routine, but just saying look if I drop the cards in the bag one cards melts right through basically?
Maaaaaybe. It all comes down to the performance.
Sure! Well, it would make it less dramatic, not so much of a closer that way I guess. Thinking about it I like the original better lol.
Jay, you had that one in the bag my son!
Brilliant 😀
I like your videos Jay Sankey
Amazing, the one-handed palm needs a lot practice though.
great effect
Something never do with plastic baggie is to make it a card case as you just did. Thanks jay.
Lol!
You genius kid man
Awesome shirt!!
Thanks so much Lebron.
8:04 I lost my shit!!! Lol!!! Great job!!
What if, when you drop the card so it looks like it falls through the bag, you drop the rest of the deck too? Like the deck falls inside the bag while the chosen card falls through it. Would the effect be better or worse?
I think the effect would be better Jake Tokheim
They never use it as napkins...would be weird and not a very good idea! Great video Jay!
That IS an odd observation.
You are awesome..!!!!
It's a card cake, you serve it at a wedding and *everybody dies*
It's not the size of my hands but my rail thin bony fingers. There's windows into my hand when I'm try to put them together.
loved it
(Black Keys shirt + coffee addiction)Magic=Sanky is my spirit animal
Grrrrrrrrrrrr! :)
Love it
Love it Jay!!! Papa's got a brand new bag :-) People never keep their pet one eyed sloth in them. Beats me why not..
You've got a GREAT point!
those visuals tho, classic;)
Yes sir!
It could be fun to turn the bag inside out and hand it to them, letting them pull their card out.
I like coffee to I tried it once but Im to young to have it 💞. I call my Mom an told her I love you . an I also love you Mr jay sankey 💞
Awww. So sweet! Thanks!
SUPER PRESENTATION......;)
Thanks my friend!
I AM A SMALL MAGICIAN ;) ruclips.net/video/zS2HKeUeqJI/видео.html AT MIDDLE
Nice
Damn......u must be killing it in the gym....arms are getting huge!
Just trying to combat all the Doritos + TV dawg!
Ha!....ur the best!!!....
You are fun
i feel like this same effect could be achieved much simpler without the one hand top palm or a double lift just by having a card selected put face up on top to be signed turned over and palmed, then just take the next card and put it in the middle....cont as normal
that said I am very aware that you dont just teach tricks you teach skills and this is just one way to apply the skills you teach in this video
So eloquent
NO ONE keeps potpourri or tobacco (the NON-wacky one) in those little baggies they sell at smoke shops. Ya know the ones, they usually have little "leaves" or Grateful Dead bears on them. Well, I know I never did. 😆
but if we dont have a table to hide the palmed card behind like you did then you risk the great chance of getting caught
Put password sheets inside
to send a sample occult blood sample, ain't nobody got to see that!
at 3:36 chris sounds like he's said a bad word
Why don’t you use your tattoo deck in your videos?
Two reasons. First, I don't want all my card magic videos to come across as commercials for original deck. And second, even though I perform a lot with the Tattoos deck, I also still perform a lot with good ol' classic Bike cards. Everybody recognizes them and immediately TRUSTS THEM.
SankeyMagic that makes sense. And I completely agree with you about coffee. Coffee is life.
I'm fairly certain nobody has used a plastic baggie as a piece of sports equipment. "Hey, let's play kick the baggie!" "Uh... pass." "Maybe some Ultimate Baggie, then?" "Dude, get some real sporting goods."
Also, as for the video. I saw the double (or at least, knew there was one), but the top palm was great. Even if you're looking for it, it's so subtle.
LOL!
I mean people never really do impressions of really sad surreal puppet shows with plastic baggies, but there you go.
Tada?
People never use plastic baggies as folders also not many magic tricks involve plastic baggies especially card triks
People never use a plastic bag to save old used shaving cream for future use... was this on Ren and Stimpy?
One thing people don't do with plastic bags is use them as a toy. It says so on the item itself.
Magicians break rules~
Marty Ransford that was the masked magician.
Pretty sure I left my hopes and dreams inside a plastic bag... It blew away with the wind.. So I suggest people never do that! 😂
Sad, poetic, insane.
Love this!!!
"What is something people NEVER do with a plastic baggie?"
People never vanish the Statue of Liberty with a plastic baggie...at least I'm fairly certain of that....hmmmm.....
Noice!
You should never have a plastic baggie as a girlfriend.
Oh...okay......
People NEVER pierce their ears with a plastic baggie.
I know, and I think it's a shame they don't!
If I imagine correctly no one is putting their knifes in them because it is pointless :D
Very funny mister....
Never Use a plastic bag as a sleeping bag
Too small. And a tad lethal when it comes to the whole 'breathing' thing.
Who cares about the whole ‘breathing’ thing anyway
People never play Frisbee with their plastic bags.
And it would so easy too! Just put a little water in the baggie and lay it FLAT in your freezer...
I don't think anyone has used a plastic bag to save the environment :(
Ouch!
Jay, are you a lonely boy by any chance?
Hell yes. Been a BIG ASS 'Black Keys' fans for years. Even scored VIP tix last time they hit Toronto. #luckyMF
