To me, he was the most athletically gifted inside linebacker in Steelers history, he played at 250+ pounds with a great combination of speed and power.

Dude stayed right down the hall from me for his short time in JUCO College before UGA.. Dude was a BEAST on that football field back then, No talk just business!! Real quiet guy, but cool as hell! Always wondered what happened to him after the NFL.

I played with Bell in Jr college in 98. When I say this guy was NFL big fast and hard hitter then too. 240lbs 4.4/4.5 speed. He had that shoulder injury back then, too. I played RB. I remember doing one on ones and I had to block this guy. I did a back flip when he hit me😂. Great guy

He was a beast. I remember the consecutive goal line stands vs Brown his rookie year. They got new 1st down on 4th via penalty. But stuffed them 4 next downs

The Steelers were playing the Raiders the year the Raiders went to the Super Bowl. The Raiders from the very begining of the game they were throwing on every down, and completing them all. They had an empty backfield on every play no one back there to protect Rich Gannon, and then what seemed like out of nowhere like he was shot out of a cannon Kendrell blitzed up the middle totally destroyed and blew up Gannon. Gannon had no time to react and was laying on the field in pain, and hobbled off. That was the last time the Raiders didnt keep a back in to protect Gannon. 😂
i've been watching the Steelers since 1975 and saw some great hard explosive hits, but i never saw one to top that.
