Lexington is a quaint, little college town and home to the University of Kentucky. They claim a population of more than 300,000 but that's really the entire Fayette County area. So the actual downtown feels like the small college town that it is with very little residential population.
Why don't you turn the camera to see highlights as you drive by them? You passed right by Gratz Park and Transylvania University but we didn't get to see them because you kept the camera pointed forward.
Well, to be fair, those 2 cities are 10 times larger than Lexington. There are definitely homeless people in Lexington, I see them panhandling every single day. There just isn't nearly the number of them as compared to LA or NYC.
@@exploreusacities comparing the university area university of Kentucky and university of Oklahoma (norman) Which gives a more city type vibe with better amenities and atmosphere?
@@sadikursiam2224 University of Kentucky has MUCH more of a city vibe. Norman is just the campus. From Norman you need to drive 20-30 minutes to get to the city.
Thanks for another great sightseeing tour.
Great video🎥
Great footage of SexyLexi! Hoping to see Louisville soon? 👍🏼 #safetravels

I'm from Indonesia, a tropical country. btw, in Lexington, no one seems to ride a motorbike :)
Very few people ride them in America compared to Southeast Asia.

I don't know but I'm sure your video of Lexington will be much better than mine, I'm looking forward to it
What amazes me is that I didn't see any trash or a hobo throughout the whole time he was driving.
Can't say the same for NYC or downtown LA.
I'll be in LA next month, looking forward to filming the homeless encampments!

Skywalks.
How's Lexington in compare to Norman Oklahoma?
Norman is just a suburb of Oklahoma City, not much to it other than the university. Not much to compare
@@exploreusacities so youre saying lexington is better as a city right?
Not really, because Norman is right next to Oklahoma City, so you need to compare Lexington to Oklahoma City
