The obedience of Jesus to endure the beating and scourging and stay on that cross after all that mocking when he had the ability to stop it and judge those there at any moment is beyond comprehension. God’s strength is amazing. I am weak but he is strong.

They whipped him 39 times,because 40 would kill a man,and they wanted to hurt him
I imagine him Jesus going through that for me and I weep inside.
