Did the new tires increased the ground clearance and seat height? Any issues with abs or electronics due to size change? I am planning same for my 2016versys 1000
Oups dont know why but didn't get notified for your comment Heres my answer, actual ground clearance is about 8,5 inch with 19 inch conversion, abs does not work because the lack of ABS disc, speed reading still working (taken at the rear ABS disc), very happy with the mod
Hello my friend, I would like to know which 19" wheels are compatible with versys? Did you need any adaptation? This specific model is from which motorcycle?
I used the exhaust pipe as jack up point, not the best but i could not see other options, but don't worry exhaust tubes are pretty sturdy, just make sure that your jack wont slip
Yes but not that much, when stopped if i applied the front brakes then push the bike back and forth it was giving the impression that the wheel was loose
Ooh men.. you are killing those rims
Thank you !

Where did you jack up the bike from? I tried look for a jack point on the bike, but couldn’t find anything I felt comfortable jacking it up from

Ok I am confused how did you put 19 inch tire on 17 inch rim , I thought you cannot do that
The front wheel is a 2002 V-Strom 1000 rim like written in the description
So you had to remove the ABS at the front in order to fit the 19” tire? Too bad. ABS is good to have…
Hi, if you can find a 2008-2012 wheel with abs disc and relocate the sensor it would probably work
Why you did that to your disk ??? They supposed to move about little!
