      it's actually not the lighting - that is a standard coaxial microscope LED ring light. It is circularly polarized filters that are doing the trick.

      sorry, I just uploaded this video to be able to show it in the forums that I am active in. It is dealing with the problem that it is often impossible to read chip markings under a rework microscope.
