I get my son to do the void rift bosses usually. On forerunner this fight is pretty easy even without cheese, but on public server acc I'm a lot more strapped for fighters. I just can't be bothered with it. Thankfully he's usually keen to do Laseer especially so lucky for me!

Used the cheese for a second time now, this time in Hard mode - so thought I'd comment and say thanks. For the last bit, if Torodor is too far out so fighters can't attack, Zilitu can with her range so I wasn't stuck there for an eternity lol
Got Hatssut exclusive artifact for the Hard mode rewards (I thought it was just nightmare, but small chance I guess), hope it's useful

Crazy. I try this exactly and when he kills my fighter it leaves a lava pool and I can't put anyone down to replace him.

Void Rift has some of the best rewards in the game! I highly recommend trying to push it but it can be a drag sometimes.@@gamescape7758

This worked for Nightmare on my first try. I just kept my healer at the end and deleted him!
i tried it 3 times it didnt work but i got it now. I think you'd have to place a fighter and let them die and then place a defender, not anything else. Not sure tho but i got it! Thanks
did they patch this? he keeps doing the furious strike on me at the position he's not supposed to.
I did it just this week, they might have made the timing more tight but it works

Hello, I believe this has been patched with a recent update. I’ve tried several times and after the fighter is killed, the block is was standing on turns unavailable for placement for the tank.
It works with a lot of people but if it isn’t working for you I have an alternate version you can probably find too
I've just finished nightmare today and it is still working.

This is the placement order I used:
Abomination (same spot, bottom lane)
Vortex (same spot, bottom healer)
King Harz (instead of wrath, in front of bottom Soul Core)
Silas (same spot, top dps,)
Zilitu (instead of Abomination, top lane)
Olague (same spot, next to Silas)
Constance (added her right above abomination to help keep King Harz alive he's only lvl50 for me)
Baron (same spot, under red soul)
Cool strategy mix up! The cool thing about this game is almost every level can be beaten in such different ways!

Congrats on the silas pull but your single target unit does not matter, you could have used cuke
