i gotta say Net Positive sponsored ads are literally the only ones i listen completely through. john and alex flawlessly talk through the ad as if the podcast never even stopped, it’s casual and it’s still hilarious to listen to. huge props.
When I was a junior in HS I refused to take a typing class because I believed voice technology was “taking off” and would make typing irrelevant. I signed up for classes at school without my parents and when they saw my class schedule didn’t include a typing class, I was grounded and made to learn how to type on a typewriter from the 80s, so like not even a cool typewriter. They set it up for me to do in the laundry room in the basement. And until I could log onto my step-dads computer and pass Mavis Beacon at a certain WPM with a box over my hands to keep me from looking…I was grounded. It took most of the school year. Now my mom uses voice text all the time and never proofreads it before sending to check for errors. So it’s basically impossible to understand her. I still believe voice technology has a chance… but I guess I can type now if it doesn’t work out! 😂 Also my mom has stood by that season of punishment even after admitting some of the punishments they had were over the top. She still says this one fits the crime.
I listened to this podcast followed by Jordan Peterson’s podcast while driving yesterday. His guest described activist as posh caricatures 40:41 (condensed). I know this is old school but I love that I was able to purchase your album “I’ve Got Questions” on ITunes then share “songs” with friends. Recently during a road trip with friends I played the album with ladies that didn’t know you. They loved it. RUclips commercials ruin the rhythm of your show. I shared your RUclips show with two friends yesterday. Thanks for the laughs and for keeping your comedy clean 😅
The Star Spangled Banner definitely has a "we just signed the Declaration of Independence, middle finger to England, '76 forever," vibe. It's actually from a battle in War of 1812. Defeated the British either way, so 🦅🦅🦅🔊🔊🔊
Lol the Eminem one reminds me of how I would always turn my radio to kLove after listening to screaming metal in my car as a teen just incase my parents had to use it 😂
Ive never heard of the "go in the water but don't go under water" business.... I cant imagine going into water i couldnt go under would be okay either. Lol idk what to think now
since on the subject of peeing in bodies of water. I have a hard time peeing in ocean especially if its deep. With the waves coming back to back it's hard for me to concentrate enough to go. I usually have to get closer to the shore. Won't do it in pools or hot tub's but beach of course
On the topic of peeing and pooping in the outdoors. When it comes to leave no trace. You never pee into the river. You go 500ft from any water source, and 200ft from any trail. The rivers are where you filter your drinking water. Directly contaminating it would be silly.
OMG. I love you guys but you’re lack of history knowledge and geography makes me wince!!!🤣🤣. You must be talking about GEORGE WASHINGTON crossing the Delaware?! 🙄🤣

I take your point, but hundreds of people are floating these rivers (this time of year). No one is directly and intentionally drinking this river water.
John got that homeschool American history. 🤣

The pee topic is too much.
Something John will not be asked to endorse: Home School Education Curriculum! Uhh, George Washington crossing the Delaware, perhaps. 🤪
We declared independence before the war with England. Then we won in 1783
How come foreigners do not imitate the American accent
