Just want to say I highly value your thoughts and opinions. You are up there with the top .5 percent of tarot tubers I pay attention to. Thankyou for your content , it try helps to mold and guide what I purchase and study etc
Hello, I've just found your channel and I'm delighted! You come across as both sympathetic and frank, a lovely combination. I've been studying tarot more seriously for the last 4 months or so and your book recommendations are going to be very valuable in my journey! Thanks, from Brazil 💚
Thanks for your appreciation! I am just working on another multiple book review. I'll put it out in the next few weeks. Good luck with your studies! Best wishes, Robert.
I absolutely devoured this video of yours, dear Robert! It was so interesting for me to see your chosen art tarot decks! I don't own any of the ones you showcased. In fact, The Oculi Occultati is the only one I have seen, as two of my friends love it. Yes, Taschen Tarot Book is SO lush and beautiful! And then the other 3 books you showed here - your video was the first time I saw them! Great spreads, too! And I absolutely loved hearing the story behind your ' headpiece' !!! ❤❤❤ Very special VR indeed! THANK YOU for sharing, Robert!🙏💛
Dear Mascha, how lovely to hear from you! This is a really nice VR thread, isn't it? One gets the chance to get to know other tarot people. I hope you are well! Sending all best wishes. Robert. x
The book reviews were great! I added 2 to my cart. I plan on trying The Meeting and Weather Forcast spreads. A lot packed into this aaaaand I thank you.
Fantastic! 🥰 I’m so glad you joined in this tag, I just love your sense of humor, I lol’d at “breasts appearing randomly out of cosmic spaces” 🤣😂. All the books you showed are very intriguing, I’ve had my eye in the taschen one for awhile but now I need to check out the others too. Also, I love the look of that leopard print jumper/coat you had on.❤
It's a leopard-print dressing gown! We need it here in Berlin, where the autumns and winters are still a bit chilly. Thanks for inviting me to the tag. It's a great format and a nice introduction to other tarot-tubers, isn't it? xx
You have a really great taste in decks. I moved on my oculi occultati tarot a few years ago because the arcatypes were not numbered , the size of the cards and the masculine energy. I kind of regret it know as its going for hundred of pounds and dollars know ❤
Yes, funny about the Oculi Occultati. For years they had a big stack of them in Watkins. It was like they couldn't sell them. Then suddenly they all went. It's super-eccentric but it's very special... x
Truly love seeing these special art decks as I’d never see them otherwise. So many white borders? (Not a fan) Your critiques are so useful. I love when you say “ there’s the xyz which I can’t stand” haha. Great book selection. Thank you! ❤
What a fascinating book selection! I’m fascinated by the Numerology tome. I’m very interested in the intersection between tarot and numerology and astrology. It may not perfectly mesh, but I feel there’s enough of a connection to resonate with me, personally.
I am so glad I stumbled upon your channel a few months ago. You are such a treasure here on the tubes 🙏 Thank you for showing The Hidden Message Tarot.... Rubbing salt into a wound hahaha. I can't seem to get my hands on that deck!! Oh, and your head piece... I absolutely love and it. It 'suits' you in many ways ❤
I checked on Julien Pacaud dot com and yes it does say the Hidden Message tarot is out of stock. But maybe you could contact him direct? He's on Instagram. x
@@teatarot4557 Thank you so much for your time and effort 😊 That's a good idea, just ask him personally. Sometimes I need to get out of my own way when it comes to things like that 😏 X
First off sorry for this long comment! But wow…a lot to love in your post today. So many good things. Beautiful tarot decks. I might pick up the Mexican themed one :D Books: Mary K. Greer's 1988, "Tarot Mirrors: Reflections of Personal Meaning" spends several chapters talking about "The Nature of Personal Reality, A Seth Book". She writes on page 129: The concepts were basically introduced in the Seth's book in the same order as they appear in the tarot, although as Seth continually reviews and expands on previous ideas, so each card was expanded throughout the book. End quote… It's fascinating stuff. Regarding persona and ceremony…Completely got the Warhol reference first tuning into your channel :) I always thought it might be a reference to the 2013 movie Only Lovers Left Alive. I remember watching perhaps Tilda Swinton mention the director wanted the vamps to have an animalistic aspect so the hair design used a mix of human and either synthetic or animal hair. Regarding ceremony, folks that I respect say one of the important things to do to create a generative/creative space is to set it aside from the everyday. Thank you for sharing a bit of behind the camera goes on :)
That's extremely interesting about Mary K Greer's book! I used to be irritated by Warhol and his art but over the years, as I have found out more about him, my feelings have changed, and now I see him as a really foundational figure in the modern world. No Warhol - no Bowie! And yes, the mask gives us a little bit of privacy and helps us to relax and make our art. Rx
Robert, where did you buy your Hidden Message Tarot from? As far as I can see, the only source is Julien Pacaud's website, where the deck has been sold out for a while now. I feel somewhat disadvantaged when it comes to buying Tarot books and decks living in New Zealand. Sometimes it's a real treasure hunt!
Loved this!! It was refreshing and relaxing with a cup of tea on a Sunday morning. 🫖 The Rohrig Tarot does have one good thing going for it - it''s the reason why l found your channel!! So for that l will be eternally grateful. A couple of years ago l came across a reader (online) who used the Rohrig deck exclusively, l took a look at it, and it didn't speak to me. Then this year another reader crossed my path who, again, used only this deck. So l wondered if l missed something and took another look. I searched reviews and yours stood out from the many choices. You confirmed my own feelings about the deck. The artwork is rather striking, but l don't get the point of all those disembodied breasts. Someone in a forum comment said they are "symbolic of the naked soul & the naked mind". Okay. My least favourite card is the Empress. I see nothing lush, fertile, or fruitful in that representation. So, thanks so very much, Robert. (And maybe Spirit, Divine Source, and such as give us guidance and direction.) You have become my favourite tarot channel. :) ~ Vera
Hi Vera Thanks for sharing your experiences of the Röhrig! I think maybe it's just a very old-fashioned male-chauvinist deck, but done with such confidence (and skill) that people feel they have to accept it. So glad you like my channel! best wishes Robert x
don't change anything!! muches smooches

Thank you. I very much appreciate that! 🙂
Thank you ❤
I love your head piece. It’s part of who you are.
Thank you for answering my tag. I especially liked your topic choice for the 5 decks, you shared a couple I'd not seen before, which is always fun.
Thanks for the tag! It was a good one🙂

Thank you!
Haha
I don't hardly ever share your opinions on the Tarot decks, yet nevertheless enjoy your videos and critique
Robert, your Rohring deck review was simply delightful! I was laughing like a schoolgirl!
I guess the best description would be “erotic”.

I got it direct from Julien Pacaud's site. Perhaps you could email him and encourage him to do a second edition?
