No way.

@kittensvsdragons6193 he said in the interview it was all non-fiction. I dont think I've ever read a non-fiction book at any reading level that was less than 100 pages.
Why is this so believable and unbelievable at the same time
Because some is true and alot is bullsh*t.

Because it's actually not believable at all and only unbelievable
The interview that keeps on giving.
To all the people saying he meant to say that he read 3,000 books in total from the ages 8-12 and not per year, that would still be 750 NON-FICTION books per year. That would still make him possibly the fastest reader who ever existed! That's not even getting into the ability to comprehend and retain information if he was reading at these record breaking speeds. Lmao!
Don't comment again if you think that would make him anywhere in the ballpark of the the fastest readers ever. Educate yourself.

If someone tells you they read 3000 books a year, you would be a fool to accept anything that person says as truth.
You can read 3000 books in a year as well. Here’s how: when it comes to books (non-fiction books) apply the Pareto principle (80:20 rule) to the book, meaning that 80% of the useful knowledge in the book is located in 20% of the book. The problem is that publishers wont print out a book that has 20-40 pages in it…so they have the authors write in 80% fluff that provides backstory or context to the topic but isn’t useful. All books (generally) are like this. You can also can learn how to speed read as well. End of chapter summaries are also useful too. Just because you can’t do it (as of this moment) doesn’t mean that you’re not capable I hope
You found the shared strategies effective.

What I'm learning from Katt Williams is that it doesn't matter what industry you decide to work in, because there will always be competition between those who are naturally gifted for success, those who are manufactured for success (fakers/cheaters), and those who built themselves up for success, but aren't passionate for the industry (problematic/deterrents).
Katt Williams is a real comedian similar to how the late great King of Comedy Robin Harris was. He created his own jokes and vetted new talents such as Martin Lawrence which changed the industry. He is a trend setter and game changer. Every industry usually have a anomaly. Only those who aren't truly built for success within the industry try to blackball or eliminate such individuals because they're intimidated.
You’re a very wise person.
@darrellmcnair9858 I disagree because hardwork always beats talent. You may not be good at something but so far are you passionate and hardworking you will always succeed. Learn about the parable about talents.

Not necessarily true. He didn’t say how many chapters…. Stop looking to find disbelief in his story.
Exactly. At 8 he could have been reading books that would be age appropriate. Those books wouldn't have 15 chapters. So it's doable
@@user-fz7wx5cy4w if he wasn’t reading children’s books that are only a few dozen pages it’s not possible. Your average book is 70k - 120k words. So on the low side that’s 210 million words. Your average reader reads about 240 words a minute so that breaks down to about 882,352 minutes to read that many words and there are only 525,600 minutes in a year. It's hard to take anything seriously after he said he read 3,000 books a year. I read a lot, and the most I read in one year, recently, was 63 books. Let's say I didn't have a fulltime job, or family obligations - there is no way I get to 150 books in a year. So, Katt Williams would read more than 20 times the amount of books that I could read in a year? GTFOOH. What else isn't the truth?
Not to mention his reading speed would have to be beyond that the average person to achieve within that many books in such a short amount of time, and that's only about 238 words per minute.
I was looking for this comment
Size of the books? He was 8. I need more information
The calculation brings it to 8 books a day. How many pages did the books have? Most books have about 300 pages.

Claiming to read 3000 books a year as a child is unhinged - that's 9 books a day. People do not define a pamphlet as a book, for most even a magazine doesn't entirely count, so a ''book'' is a tangible amount of reading and a decent time investment. A ''short book'' for some is an hour, for others up to 2-4 hours. It's such a ridiculous claim, that anyone who actually reads books would immediately doubt any sort of legitimacy before even considering it's in the context of a child. Not to discredit Katt Williams on everything else he has to say, but that's just an odd thing to claim, to showcase ''intelligence''
