"When you're like six, seven years old, and you read the whole encyclopedia set, you think you’re one of the smartest people in the world. Only to get out in the world and find out you don't know anything. It was a confusing time... I'm probably reading 3000 books a year from the time I'm 8 years old to the time that I'm 12. No fiction books."

You can read 3000 books in a year as well. Here’s how: when it comes to books (non-fiction books) apply the Pareto principle (80:20 rule) to the book, meaning that 80% of the useful knowledge in the book is located in 20% of the book. The problem is that publishers wont print out a book that has 20-40 pages in it…so they have the authors write in 80% fluff that provides backstory or context to the topic but isn’t useful. All books (generally) are like this. You can also can learn how to speed read as well. End of chapter summaries are also useful too. Just because you can’t do it (as of this moment) doesn’t mean that you’re not capable I hope
You found the shared strategies effective.

What I'm learning from Katt Williams is that it doesn't matter what industry you decide to work in, because there will always be competition between those who are naturally gifted for success, those who are manufactured for success (fakers/cheaters), and those who built themselves up for success, but aren't passionate for the industry (problematic/deterrents).
Katt Williams is a real comedian similar to how the late great King of Comedy Robin Harris was. He created his own jokes and vetted new talents such as Martin Lawrence which changed the industry. He is a trend setter and game changer. Every industry usually have a anomaly. Only those who aren't truly built for success within the industry try to blackball or eliminate such individuals because they're intimidated.

Claiming to read 3000 books a year as a child is unhinged - that's 9 books a day. People do not define a pamphlet as a book, for most even a magazine doesn't entirely count, so a ''book'' is a tangible amount of reading and a decent time investment. A ''short book'' for some is an hour, for others up to 2-4 hours. It's such a ridiculous claim, that anyone who actually reads books would immediately doubt any sort of legitimacy before even considering it's in the context of a child. Not to discredit Katt Williams on everything else he has to say, but that's just an odd thing to claim, to showcase ''intelligence''
