Faker and T1 are World champions. This is not a drill. This is not us reliving the glory days.
Faker is now a 4 time World champion - the only player to ever achieve that title in League of Legends.
It’s been six years of heartbreak, rotating teammates, mounting pressure and injuries - but none of that matters now.
The greatest player to ever touch the game is back on top - and here’s how it happened…

10 years of staying at the top and mentality in League of Legends is something I wouldn't even consider possible.
10 years of completely different metas and champions and he’s still consistently top tier WHILE being the World’s best shotcaller and leader. Ludicrous.
if you're faker, it is now.
It's just a feat that's hard to put into words. The only thing we can do is to call him the GOAT without dissent.
For any Esport really
That's why he's the GOAT!🐐
Can we have the "History of Faker" remastered? Now that there is the new story line from being a mentor to his arm injury, and the comeback to win worlds?
agree, and re-title it "The Goat of e-sport"
Next documentary should be when he retires.
@foxthroat3410 why would they title it that when that's not true
@@giantdad391nobody’s even close to him what are you on about😂😂😂😂😂😂
How many Faker Vids you want on this channel xd
Faker is never toxic, never out of line, always respectful, never blaming his teammates, never acting out seeking attention etc. I could go on on how well mannered he is while being the face of an esport that is the touted to have the most toxic community every produced.
Faker is actually a giant troll lol. If you ever watch his streams hes constantly trolling people. He just has an extremely dry sense of humor and personality which makes his trolling even more hilarious.
@@erupter76500yeah i watch his clip and he always troll others lol, always said ‘i teach you a lesson’
there was a clip while break at finals where faker was asked from one of the backstage worker to give a like to a lck and a dislike to a lpl card. He denied the second card. He may be troll in streams sometimes but is never going to far especially in professional.
You could see it in his answers in interviews that he always command respect, he had the best PR answers and rightfully so perfect as representative.

Zeus definitely deserved that MVP. Almost all of WBG's success came off of the back of TheShy. Either him 1v9ing or him causing enough pressure others could get ahead. Zeus went all Bane and broke his back so hard he couldn't carry shit. 1/16/5 across the 3 games.
I love that dark knight rises reference
Yeah no Zeus was fucking nuts
Mfer is breaking backs with his solo carry lmao
Not only that Zeus was given counterpick role and his teammates were just too solid. T1 had no gaps.
Tbf for TheShy T1 give Zeus the counter picks since they always got red side, Still Zeus do smashed TheShy and does his role to carry. Everyone in T1 did their job given by their role. Oner in carry and playmaking jung picks is such a beast too. Happy for my boy Oner silencing his doubters. Keria and Guma is so consistent the whole tourney, Happy for Keria for finall defeating his demons when it comes to Finals. He and Faker did show a lil bit of shakiness during game 1 making mistakes mechanically, But they still did a good job throughout the series. Then Faker, we wouldn't be in the Finals or even WORLDS if this man didn't came back and played like his on peak again to win it all for his juniors. Overall T1 played so well this worlds it's not even close against the other teams. Hope they stayed confident while not being too complacent going to this 2024 season. Lets get that 5th Boys!
The most impressive thing Faker did this tournament was carrying the match against JDG. It cannot be understated how imppressive he was against arguably the toughest opponent of the whole tournament.
lets be honest people, T1 vs JDG was the REAL Finals. We knew they were gonna win after that.
Ngl, I didnt even know WBG vs T1 was even the grand finals, it didnt even feel like a battle. I legitimately thought there was another match in a few days afterwards from how... weak of a BO5 this was.
Gotta disagree with this one. You never know what's going to happen next, T1 was in the very same situation last year. No one expected DRX to win, but here we are.
People thought the same when T1 faced DRX last year, but look at how that went.
People also said JDG vs T1 were the real finals, turned out wrong
Nah it was T1 vs TL. That was the final.
91% winrate vs LPL
40% winrate in Worlds
HOLY SHT T1 and FAKER, JUST HOLY SHT 💀
40% wr in world finals* much higher wr in worlds itself lol.
Bro he only got to worlds like 8 times. 2013, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2019, 2021, 2022 and 2023 and out of all 8, he got 4 world titles.
50% winrate in worlds when the majority were happy to win just one let alone the rest wanting to even have one.
And fun fact, Faker or T1 got more worlds trophy than the entire LPL. Think about it.
@extremederpz4270 another fun fact...faker is 50% the reason why the LCK has their trophies (LCK has 8 total now Faker brought them 4)
@@danteholmes2009correction. He has a 66.66% win rate in world's finals. 4/6. Maou-sama confirmed
@@yashas72 he is 4/6 in worlds finals, he is 4/8 in total
And it all started when KT picked T1 and didnt let GenG deny them of the chance to enter Worlds. I love KT man.
Crisp's Bard ult was so troll in that drag river fight, denies two of his own teammates their ults and altered the outcome of that so heavily
The funny thing is even without the bard ult, Xiaohu's Azir ult would have pushed Faker (who already Zhonya'd) out of Kennen's ult. Double anti-synergy.
@@MaityistI agree with you. With or without the bard ult I think it was already a decided team for t1. The comp synergy was not good for wbg
Commentator said in game 3 kerias bard ult but keria played rakan i guess T1 has a lpl member T1 Crisp
Crisp first timing Bard and he looked very uncomfortable with it. I'll blame the coach for this pick tho

3 strikes? Not fixed time
I tear up reading the transcript of their comms, specially Oner's line. "Are we really Champions?" bro you deserved it. Considering what "T1 fans" said to him before.
The step-up Oner had this Worlds is unbelievable. He was under fire for so long, but now he had a truly hero's journey, a redemption arc, which is why I think he should be one of the contenders as the overall MVP. But it's definitely really hard to say, each one of them deserve it
@@TheOpytimusEX totally agree with the mvp title, before they announce it, I was rooting for Oner, but when they announced Zeus, I was like, yes, he deserves it, too. They both do.
@@moksolees6658 the 2 underdogs of T1 both deserved the mvp because in the swiss stage - finals they completely carried especially in the semis vs JDG
Faker now has more skins than Ornn.
put Faker in Arcane is what we're saying
Cameo in arcane
I think the most credit has to go to T1's bot lane. Guma and Keria were so versatile that they could play anything even after drawing multiple bans, which allowed the other three players to get favorable picks.
@blackonwhites1611his point is that Zeus and Oner were allowed to shine because Guma and Keria basically never lost bot playing weakside and blind picking champs
@blackonwhites1611Honestly all of them. T1 botlane give them so much draft flexibility and bot counterpick. Botlane practically change the worlds meta and influence other team to drift away from kaisa/xayah meta. Jg was probably best whole tournament. Zeus mvp final. Faker was best mid and also mvp vs jdg in semi.
@@t3152 Exactly! Throughout the whole finals they were just insta picking blind for the bot lane, allowing Zeus to always have the last counterpick.
tom's draft in this meta is insane, the fact that guma keria basically blindpicks on red and neutralizes every match up allowed zeus and faker to last pick every draft. Its precisely this reason that light and crisp felt invisible this series. Oner basically prio top half of the map and only played bot side for dragon and was not punished by weiwei at all. Once zeus built up a lead, went hullbreaker and swapped to perma bot lane, it was over since theshy couldn't 1v1 zeus anymore
@@namo2403 I agree with Guma Keria having vast ocean pool, but let's not forget that Zeus picks aatrox in first picking phase for T1 almost throughout of the Worlds 2023, the only game I remember think just instalock botlane was 3rd game in finals. Same as faker only having picked 3 champions althroughout the series excluding finals.
They picked T1 adc/support champions after seeing what the enemy adc/support champions are allowing T1 botlane to counter. Or sometimes picking either support or adc on first pick phase, and countering on the 2nd pick phase with the remaining role not picked.
So really, It wasn't just the botlane that gave T1 the advantage on the draft, all of them did.
The Undisputed Greatest Player of All Time, combined with his respectable character, League is lucky to have Faker as the face of the game.
he reminds me of messi, GOAT in the respective sport/esport, and also very humble and display out of this world skills,

messi finally won the world cup too after failing it 8 years ago
From "The SKT Dynasty is over" to "The SKT legacy has been reignited". Holy.
Can't ever underestimate Faker, at the end of it all, hardly anyone has that combination of experience and skill.

@@edymiguel4247 Pyosik should've attacked Guma instead of targeting Faker.
After the Swiss stage, T1s form is just too good compared to other teams. Playing their own style, this early game prio winning bot lanes and objective prioritization lead to snowball of the game and win. Thats why other teams were forced to play it, shifting the meta. But how could they beat T1 in their own game 😅
Playing T1's game style means you already lost. 4 LPL teams tried to play their game but ultimately failed, GenG got an answer to their game by not playing it though GenG are international chokers
@@francisreidpalmes3348 nah, Oner and Zeus truly changed and improved a lot. Even if they face Gen G in their form, they will win.

This was T1's Golden Road. T1 vs The LPL ❤ Oh my God & It delivered big time ❤ The Greatest plays ever ♥️
I thought golden roas if you wins all four (spring, msi, summer and worlds) at the same year?
@Alinis91 it is, i think the idea is that T1's journey was special this year. Disappointing MSI, struggling Summer, as Faker drops due to injury, then he comes back and pulls the team to Worlds.
Not only that, but the only 2 Worlds that Faker has missed were hosted in Korea, so this was his 1st time in home region; but all other LCK reps get knocked out, and T1 literally runs the gauntlet through all 4 LPL seeds to uphold the honor of the LCK, winning the Finals convincingly against a 4th Seed team that had a journey nearly identical to DRX last year.
And this happens a decade after Faker's first. Literally scripted.
@@taznkid1730 oh, okay

The magnitude of this achievement is something the HATERS will never understand, they only see Faker lost a couple of Worlds finals. Sure he was not able to lift the summoner's cup a couple of times, but think about it how many players/team were able to to reach the finals as much as Faker and to stay on top of the league for a decade when most esports pro athlete can only sustain a fruitful career for what 5 years on average.
People consider making it to semis as a massive achievement. But for faker, anything less than a win means he is washed -.- He has literally made it to finals more times than the top people have made it to semis and people still called him washed

Almost impossible, a team needs to have a consistent great player that is the foundation of the team whether the roster around him changes and also fit the puzzle with other team players that could synergize with him in a span of 10 years and win a minimum of 4 worlds title. While the finals might have been a victory lap for T1, and a kind of boring finals unless you just wanted to see T1 stomp them which is fun, but the storyline, the narrative, everything about this finals just made it unbelievable.
The JDG game was the one that should have been the Grand Final based on quality but holy hell what a run from T1. Zeus really stepped up and shut TheShy down, who was the main reason Weibo even made it to the Final in the first place because their bot lane got gapped in a bunch of the games against BLG.

Already demonstrated during MSI.
Crisp applying for KR citizenship and military exception after that bard ult in game 3
4:15 gotta love T1 Crisp ya know. The play gets further worsened when you see 4 ults burned by Weibo, Azir ult pushing guma out of kennen ult, and the simple fact this bard ult came so late that Xiaohu and TheShy were sitting at half health to get executed when they leave with 0 util after the all in.
This was a joy to watch, every player in T1 feels like they are playing for each other, and of course Faker, the selflessness was superb.
At 4:20 you describe a “juicy Bard ult from Keria set up Faker’s Akali to mow dowm Weibo”. Except Keria was not playing Bard. It was Weibo’s Crisp who ulted his own players and wiped out TheShy’s Kennen ultimate.
now we need Faker to get his 5th so we can have 2 players with full-hand world champions on their belt
Not Keria’s Bard ult, but the ult did set up Faker lol
@4:15 the "Juicy Bard's ult" was not from Keria, it was from Crisp, Keria was playing Rakan tho he did land a juicy Rakan ult but ultimately it was Crisp's Bard ult that sets T1 for success in that fight, because Faker was able to negate both The Shy's Kennen ult and Xiaohu's Azir ult at the same time. and Faker already has an Azir skin so i doubt he would get another Azir skin just for lols, he mentioned that he wanted an Ahri skin but he is undecided because he wants to get a skin on a champ that many people would play.
Come on...everyone know it's a joke
the 2015 SKT Azir skin was for Easyhoon tho, but yeah, I think it would be an Ahri skin, as he always say throughout his career that he wanted a skin for her even last year but unfortunately they lost to DRX.
There is one phrase that sums up this tournament especially the semifinals. "FAKER WHAT WAS THAT??? "
I'm really happy that Kkoma is back

How can you argue South Korea has not been the #1 region even before drx won last year. China has never won worlds without a korean in their team. The funniest part is that he thought it was Keria's Bard, when actually it was Crisp hahahahahha
In almost 11 years of his career, he has won 10/23 LCK, 2/8 MSI, 4/11 Worlds Championships. Out of the 25 times he did not win, he was the Runner-ups in 9 of them. He has consistently been the best or stayed among the bests for such a long time. Absolute GOAT!

Faker was in GOD form this season, but it wasn't just him alone. Zeus was a menace in the top lane as carried the team on his back multiple times, Oner was a devasting roamer/ganker that swung the tides of battle to their side, Gumayusi was an absolute monster, especially when he finds his momentum and confidence, my man faced death at least thrice in the finals and still won the team clash, and, of course, Keria was just brilliant; his mind, his reflex, his initiative and shotcalls are just spot-on.
*Faker* is a god and, true to this World's theme, he was playing with his fellow gods as well and they watched as everything crumble apart, especially LPL and LCK.
4:17 That wasn't Keria's Bard. That was Crisp's Bard who had anti-synergy with TheShy's Kennen ult, effectively making both ults worthless and Bard helped T1 more than WBG.
Fun fact : This was Crisp's 2nd Bard game THIS ENTIRE YEAR. He is known to have 0 experience with the champ and both games he's played it, he's lost. WBG literally threw in champ select by picking a support champ your player has no experience in on the fucking WORLDS FINAL on a game deciding match.
His Bard was so bad, you'd think it was the opposite team's Bard attempt to save a teammate
Crisp's only played Bard 4 times in his career, and the Grand Final was the only time he's played it this year. Absolute recipe for disaster. Just WBG clutching at straws at that point. (He's also never won on Bard lol)

His presence has proven to inspire teammates and instill fear in enemies. He is not just the greatest player in the league, but also the oldest player. Age doesn't stop him, it's a buff. When you google Faker, he goes up immediately, no matter who you are or what your previous search engine is trained to. He is the greatest player of the most popular Esport in the world (that's just facts).
He has single handedly dismantled every Chinese seed when every other Korean team failed to do so this year. Over his entire 10 year career, he has never lost a World's series to a Chinese team, who has proven their dominance at the international stage.
HE is the GOAT. THE GOAAAAAT
There have definitely been better games than faker. He is the goat of league but not of esports. Your brain is fried
It was juicy and it did indeed setup Faker, but it was Crisp's Bard ultimate, not Keria's :D
Man this is technically the 2nd finals Suning got into and lost 😂 (For those that are unaware, Suning rebranded into Weibo)
But I am so happy for Faker. The GOAT has finally gotten his throne back.
Oh yeah, that’s why it feels like Deja Vu. Back in 2020 only Dk is the remaining lck team in worlds facing G2 at semis. While in another bracket it’s Tes vs Suning. It is almos identical run for T1
@@hahnmaucisa242the more identical run than that is edg's run at worlds 2021. mfs had to face 3 lck teams in bracket stage to win worlds kek
that was a crisp bard ult LOL
TheShy dropping a disasterclass
Honestly he can't do anything when T1 botlane start to snowball & Zeus turn to godmode, he try his best
4:15 that's not Keria's bard ult, that's Crisp's bard ult... Keria is on Rakan lol
Let's go T1 !! We've always believed and we always will 😎👍
Yo that bard ult looks so troll he thought it was keria's bard ult Lmao
I knew this video would come
"A juicy Bard ult from Keria to set up Faker's Akali to mow down Weibo Gaming" xD
It was actually Crisp's Bard ult that set him up for that, blocking the Kennen R and setting up for the T1 fight win. The WBG support showing his loyalty to Korea.
Can you imagine having to play against them at the next worlds 💀
