Ive been in this situation. But in a helicopter. I've been in air support unit for 12 years now and I've witnessed so many officer shot calls. And i was involved in something worse. You see, i was involved in a Mayday call. Our helicopter was shot down at a shooting, and my co-pilot didn't make it. I made it and rushed to the hospital. when that happened the S.W.A.T moved in and they took down the shooters. i want to cry by thinking about this. One like on this comment = 1 thank you for your service to all the cops, EMS firefighters and others. Police are so underrated. I want noone doing what some people do! instead, help the police.
@@CharlieGamerUS Thanks, I am thing about going back in the line of duty. But I am contemplating it a lot mainly because, whenever your on a 10-11 (Traffic stop) you need to put trust on the person your pulling over, and your units. When on the line of duty, all you think about it "Am I going to die?" And there is really no answer to that. I still know a few people who are my friends, and who are still alive while still in the line of duty. There are also some, who did not get as lucky. I watched my own partner die about 5 months ago when I retired. But, I have grown to know, I could have prevented that. He died during a code 5 felony stop. The driver served several warrants, such as armed robbery, Evasion, and assault. We did not know what was going to happen so it was a waiting game, until I called in for 2 other units, my partner was grabbing his ID and registration first, then all I heard was a gunshot, and my partner was on the ground.. Thank you guys for everything.
