This isn't fucking metal dude. I gave a listen just for old times sake. This sucks. There is no originality or even intricacies in this song.
Regardless of what metal elitists say and care to believe, this is pretty damn heavy and as close to metal as possible. They seem to be doing pretty good with this latest album and it's awesome they listened to the fans.

I really dig the new album. half the songs have the serious lyrics. don’t get me wrong, I love the party songs from Attila, but songs like this, Subhuman, and Manipulate are sweet

check out some metalcore/deathcore channels and you'll realize that 95% of all the songs uploaded there have exactly these lyrics. Didnt't even listen through the song yet dont get me wrong, i'm not here to hate on the band. Just saying that those 'bad relationship/im so evil/im so miserable/im superior now' lyrics are the most overused cliche in metal right now. Some of them are written better than others yet you rarely get something new out of them.

This album is Attila at level 3000. It is a blend of every single aspect that make Attila unique and they turned everything up a notch. One of the few bands getting better and better with every album!
Not trying to take away from your opinion, but did you ever listen to Rage and Outlawed? Sounds like they're trying to progress back to that old sound. This is the first song I thought was decent off their last few albums, and it's still nothing compared to their old sound.
Jxhvnnes Nah man I still think Guilty Pleasure is a stronger album. He shows off their vocalist more and they had two guitarists. Really have them a stronger sound.

Sorry, that is not how he ruptured a vocal cord, he has been growling and screaming properly for years but unfortunately that postpones it if not enough precautions are taken.
Well to be fair franze speaks the lyrics he's not screaming and someone like Oli actaully sings a chorus etc. So someone who sings has more riding on their voice going out than someone who's blowing it out 100%
