I don’t know why, but I think Blue Devils should make the end of this beat a tradition to play in their shows (in the same way that the Cavaliers have a traditional beat except this beat can be in their show) lol. Now everytime I think of them, I’ll think of them playing this beat. I have no idea why but I do lol. Great video.
@kingjokerful yeah a lot of people do well at least the corps alumni do. the only reason why they dont do it anymore is because it limits what they can do on the feild. because of the style of marching they do they can do a whole lot more. now the only drum corps i know of that still uses the high step march is madison scouts. they still do the heel to toe also known as roll step marching though
@kingjokerful well they use to do high step marching back in the 70's when they first started cause back then they were only allowed to do traditional style and that lasted up until the 80's when they changed the rules
i think the blue devils should look up some hbcu groove stuff den do sum groove cus this is choppy and sweet but not groovy enough to me , but i love this line !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@TheDragonmaster18 it doesnt limit it , look at jsu they do a lot all hbcus do and they work just as hard but in a shorter time frame and still kill it
What point in the year is this? Pretty sure I've heard this section a lot cleaner. Don't get me wrong . . . Blue Devils "dirty" is most line's "clean".
i love the bass section, it's pretty groovin'
i love tht black dude of tenors

@kingjokerful i agree but for DCI this is groovy since they dont focus on grooves like they focus on their show music and warm ups
@TheDragonmaster18 true..... i think one day they should do a hbcu tribute show and do high step and all that i think they could pull it off
@TheDragonmaster18 it doesnt limit it , look at jsu they do a lot all hbcus do and they work just as hard but in a shorter time frame and still kill it
@will3579 I'd probably say from a virtuosity point Tim. Hands would go to Alex.
@kingjokerful i agree but for DCI this is groovy since they dont focus on grooves like everyone else does
