Until we learn how to open a wormhole/portal to do cosmic jumps we arent going anywhere. For example, even if we could actually reach the speed of light, it would take a minimum 30 to 40 years just to reach the closest planet to us in the Goldilocks zone. If we spent nasa budget for one year on ocean exploration we might actually do some good for earth. Since we have only explored the equivalent of a teaspoon of water in an olympic sized swimming pool. Instead of researching and dreaming of somewhere we will NEVER have the capability of reaching.

I think when we can use more energy as a planet and reach tier 1 status we advance further into deep-space

Deep space human exploration is never going to happen. Waste of time, money and resources that could be used to preserve the planet we are already on, instead of trying to find a new planet to plunder and pillage and destroy.
