It works great if you are running and gunning alot of spots or covering alot of water. The extra charge from running surely does accumulate throughout the day. I would say it is worth the money and I am happy with it. However if you are not planning on running the big motor much, there will not be much benefit.
I have the same set up. But with a lithium 36 vt lithium and 2 12 vt deep cycles . One is only for my engine and the other is for live well, lights, radio, ex ex.
My 36vt lithium battery will last 3 days on spot lock. My trolling moter has never died. The only reason I charge boat is for my crank battery. Good product. The only thing I’m not sure of is , my installer wants me to Run boat on 1. Not 2 or all. But if your battery dies on the water; put it on all and it cranks right up
Hey... when you get back home to island give me a shout i got Danny whole Stealth 1 setup on my boat along with his plug in setup on my truck... charge while you drive
@@dktourfishing Yeap the DC on the run chager uses my truck alternator excess amps just like if I was running the big motor on my Ranger... I hardly ever use my ac charger... great system
Since you have the Ionic app I'd be curious to know what sort of amperage are you seeing when running?
Thanks . Few questions. Any reason you didn’t get 1 36vt iconc instead of 3 lithium batteries?
I'm thinking of installing this. Any issue with charging the batteries while the Minn Kota is in use?
Isn’t this similar to the power pole charge?
I’m pretty sure the second yellow cable goes from the cranking negative to the trolling motor negative. According to then manual.
So it charges 36 volt trolling battery? If trolling battery was 24v, it would be the same unit?
Mine specifically is for 36 but the company makes a few variations of the stealth 1 for different applications. I would give Danny a call.
I’m having a problem; my cranking battery is going bad, so this was drawing my trolling batteries down
I have an Allison, so I run my boat, but I stand on my Force trolling motor, pretty much all day long
How well has this kept a charge on your trolling batteries?

@@dktourfishingI believe when your running, you need to shut off your trolling moter breaker . And when your chargeing your boat the same thing

That is awesome to charge when you drive too!

You gotta keep those breakers visible. All of the breakers on my boat are jammed up in a wire nest, way out of sight
Add a buss bar
I'm in Ridge
You gotta be able to see all the breakers, don’t you ?
