Colmar - France, One of the Most Beautiful Christmas Towns in the World

Besides Colmar being picturesque small town in France, most people visit Colmar in winter.
In Christmas time it becomes real wonderland. Colmar Christmas market lasts about 5 weeks from the last week of November until the end of December.
Colmar is a city in the Grand Est region of northeastern France, near the German border. The Old Town has cobbled streets and half-timbered houses from the Middle Ages to the early Renaissance. The 13th-century Gothic church Eglise Saint-Martin stands on the central cathedral square. The town lies on the Alsace Wine Route, and local vineyards specialize in Riesling and Gewurztraminer wines.
