This lesson showed me how important it is for everyone to have reliable access to enough nutritious and safe food for good health, economic security, and quality of life. However, food access is threatened by things like population growth, climate change, food waste, and unfair distribution. These problems can lead to hunger, unrest, and migration. To solve these issues, we need new, sustainable solutions and global cooperation to ensure a future where no one goes hungry. Thanks, sir Krippe!

I learned from this lesson that ensuring that everyone has consistent access to enough food that is safe, nourishing, and sufficient is essential to preserving economic security, general well-being, and health. Rapid population increase, climate change, food waste, and uneven distribution systems are some of the major concerns to food accessibility, though. Hunger, social instability, and forced migration can result from these problems. To address these issues and build a future in which there is no hunger and everyone has access to food, creative thinking, long-term fixes, and international collaboration are needed. Thank you, Sir Krippe!

Thank you for this, Sir Krippe! Truly, food is everything and can give us happiness. My takeaway from this video is that food security nowadays is so important. Having it can lead to a healthy and happy life. Sad to say, not all people have access to sufficient, safe, and nutritious food. If you look around, there are many people who are starving because of the inability to buy it. That's why we have to be grateful for every food on our plate because not everyone has it. I hope the government makes a move to at least solve this type of unending problem.

Thank you, Sir Krippe! From this lesson, I learned that global food security is critical for ensuring access to sufficient, safe, and nutritious food for everyone. Food security is particularly important in the Philippines, where 44.7% of the population faces moderate or severe food insecurity, according to the FAO's State of Food Security and Nutrition in the World 2023 report. This means that many Filipinos experience food shortages and lack access to adequate nutrition, leading to malnutrition, health-related problems, social unrest, and increased crime and violence as people struggle to meet their daily needs. Food is essential to economic growth and the well-being of the population. Addressing food insecurity, however, is a complex challenge that demands innovative strategies and carefully planned solutions to ensure sustainability and equity. Global food security is vital not only for reducing hunger but also for improving health, supporting economic development, and fostering global stability, making it a shared responsibility for all nations.

Good day sir krippe! today i learned the importance of having a reliable source or access in terms of nutritous and safe food despite poverty and climate change. I also learned that there are four dimensions in terms of global security. the first one is the physical availability of food it refers to the existence of physical food. the second one is the physical access to food refers to the adequate access of food in terms of national and international level. The third on is food utilization commonly understood as the way a body makes the most various nutrients, and the last one is stability of the other three dimensions.

Thank you for this lesson, Sir Krippe! My key takeaways are that food security is the state in which all people meet their dietary needs and has an access to sufficient food, it also means that food producers are able to earn a livable wage. Four dimensions of Food security are Physical Availability, Economic and Physical Access to Food, Food Utilization, Stability of Other Three Dimensions. Food Security is important as creates economic growth which reduces poverty, it creates trade opportunities, it increases global security and stability, and it improves the health and healthcare of people. Food Insecurity would lead to dire situations of malnutrition and economic instability, social upheavals, and mass migration and displacement. While food security is important, it has 10 challenges it must cross: rising population, rising income, changing diets, falling water tables, slowing irrigation, increasing soil erosion, climate change, melting water reserves, flattening yields, little time to prepare.

Challenges like climate change, food waste, and unequal access make this difficult, leading to hunger and malnutrition for many. This is also one of the reasons why we should appreciate our farmers because, without them, we won't be able to have our local produce, and it is hypocritical to think about knowing that our country is a tropical country, which means that we have a climate that's favorable for agriculture.

    Thank you po, Sir Krippe!
I've learned from this lesson that even if an individual or a family has food, it doesn't mean they are food secure. Food security is achieved when all people, not just the wealthy, have physical and economic access to sufficient, safe, and nutritious food that meets their dietary needs and preferences for an active and healthy life. I've also learned about the four dimensions of food security that people need to ensure they are food secure. This lesson has also helped me understand the importance of food security. It is important because it boosts economic growth, reduces poverty, creates more trade opportunities, increases security and safety in a community, and improves health and healthcare for the people.
Additionally, I’ve learned about the challenges to global food security, such as population growth, global warming and climate change, increasing soil erosion, low water reserves, low crop yields, and a lack of preparedness for natural disasters. These challenges need to be addressed so that we can build a food secure world, a world where no one will go hungry again.

Thank you so much sir Krippe. I believe this lesson would really help not only me but also for others to be awaken from this kind of topic. As I finish the video, the thing that highlights in my mind are the long list of challenges with regards to our food security. It is crazy that despite of the immense working power in our country we still lacks of food in certain times. After the lesson, I realized the importance of our local producer and how we should value them. Farmers are the one who produce food for us and yet they're also the one's who sometimes didn't get to eat enough food. We should focus on them to reach the maximum food security of our country and provide them with enough wages for them to produce more food. Also, I realized that me as a student can also help by consuming my food efficiently and not wasting a single portion. Me as a future engineer can also help to solve this issue by enhancing our structural environment for food production, such as factories, storage rooms and many more. With this I believe, all of us can benefit and eventually all people can get the nutrients they need and would lead on reaching the global food security where the global countries are secured when it comes to nutrients intake and healthy living.

Addressing food security requires international cooperation to find sustainable solutions. It involves physical availability, economic and social factors, and supporting food producers to maintain a consistent supply. Social awareness about food waste and equitable access can significantly contribute to solving global food issues. Supporting food producers and promoting equitable access to food is essential for a healthy and productive life.
