    Today, I’m excited to share with you how to make dried shrimp at home. This traditional method is simple and yields delicious results.
    Dried shrimp can be incorporated into all types of dishes cooked in various ways: soups, broth, dumpling fillings, stir-fries, fried rice, fried noodles, braised or steamed dishes, and more.
    They are usually called for in small quantities, but the flavor they lend to dishes goes a long way.
    Let’s get started and enjoy this flavorful ingredient in your dishes!
    First, add 10 grams of salt to 4 pounds of deveined, cleaned shrimp and marinate for about 1 hour.
    Next, in a large pan, sauté the shrimp until they turn pink and release their water.
    Once the shrimp are dehydrated, turn off the heat and transfer them to a tray. Place the tray under the full sun to dry.
    After 17 hours of sun drying, your homemade dried shrimp will be ready to use in your favorite recipe!
    Drying time can vary depending on the size of the shrimp and the weather.
