What are Antar dasha? antar dasha are the sub periods inside a major time period called mahadasa. Antar dasha require quite a bit of work in order to see what will happen in that time period. you must not just check the d1 chart but also the d9 and d10 chart and their placement from the dasha lord. If sub period planets aka antar dasha planet are 6th, 8th or 12th from the dasha lord than the sub period can bring trouble. Even though antar dasha brings other planets and other house situation, but they will be experienced through the house placement of maha dasha lord.

Look at this: I'm currently in my mahadasha of Jupiter, and March of this year I entered in Antar Dasha of Venus. March of this year I met someone whose Venus makes a close conjunction with my Jupiter (my Jupiter is in my 1st house in Sagittarius, this person's Venus is in Sagittarius and at very close degree with my Jupiter's degree). This person is being kind of special in my life right now. It can't be a coincidence.
What happened?

I entered my Jupiter Mahadasha in 2018 which ends in 2034... and Saturn Antar dasha 2021 to 2023 I don’t understand meaning... but I’m already 60 now had horrible childhood adult life wasn’t the best but I’m a very positive person and believe life is what it is gotta take the good with the bad and keep on moving forward... Dear Kapiel, This video of yours gives me hope that my shity antardasha periods will go and my luck is coming back for good again :-) The amount of shit I went through in the last couple if years is undescribable, but at least now I see what's behind. It was great to understand that all the antardashas are happening through the house where the lord of the dasha sits. In my case it's Jupiter mahadasha, I think I'm at the end of Ketu period now. My Jupiter sits in my 2nd house, actually it's together with Mars and Venus, and the combination of one of them gives Adhi Yoga as far as I understood it. So I can't wait for this period to end and my life show me some Venus antardasha period, as I really need it :-) By the way, this video was excellent, and I wish I could understand and be able to calculate at least half of the things you're talking about. I hope I can enroll in your school one day in happier times, as you really made me love Vedic Astrology much!! God bless you Kapiel and all of your loved ones!!!

Surprisingly, it exactly happened to me. Saturn Mahadasha started in 2006, got promoted, house, car everything in a foreign land. In 2011 sold off everything, staying and moving with family and parents in India till now. Not settled in one place, cant fix to one job. My Saturn is in 2, Aries Asc. Now 2013, Saturn-Venus antardasha started Can I expect betterment now? Tq

I have been in a Saturn Mahadasha/Rahu Antaradasha. I have libra ascendant. Saturn is placed in the 3rd house and Rahu sits um the 5th house. My 1st Saturn Return is also happening now and Rahu is transit over my Moon sign (Gemini). 2019 has been one of the most difficult years of my life.

kapiel, Take a case of George Bush ( Jr). During Saturn Mahadasha he became President of USA for 2 times. His Saturn in D10 is debilitated( in Aries) in 6th house. When he was seeking 2nd term as president, he was almost going thru Saturn-Jup period. where in his jupiter in D10 is in debilitated in 3rd house? Is planets like Saturn does better in 6th house even in D10?

Dasha gives the results of the house where the planet is in the chart and also gives a result of the houses ruled by the dasha planet.
Antardasha gives the result of the house where the planet is in the chart and of the houses ruled by the planet THROUGH the aspect ruled by the Dasha planet. 🙌

Example: If my first mahadasha started half way through Venus, does my antardasha also start half way through venus? and does this antar dasha format of always starting halfway through venus happen in each maha dasha?
