I really enjoy ur channel content came across ur video on custom heater box .since then it's refreshing to watch real world budget work no sponsors or bs .good stuff just a down to earth fellA getting shit done.
Back in the early 2000’s I used to install aftermarket AC. I can tell you without a doubt, this install you did was easier and clearer than most of those “vehicle specific” kits. I’m hoping to do this with my LS swapped project as well.
Fantastic information! Thanks! I don't plan on putting AC in the IH right now, but if I do decide to add it later or put AC in another build this will be very helpful. Where did you get the parts for your cold air intake? I haven't started looking for an intake yet, what you've got is exactly what I had in mind.
Thanks, that cold air intake is actually a $20 junkyard score with a K/N amazon filter, but that is a universal 2000 or so Silverado cold air intake, the whole thing is available on amazon.
Just as i was trying to figure out ac for my project, you put this out, perfect! 😅 Do you think it would be feasible to swap over the entire AC system from a donor (chevy express) to my 56 Oldsmobile? I like the idea of swapping the LS with it’s ac system but i haven’t seen people do it so maybe it’s not as easy as just new lines and stuff? As always, thank you for all the helpful and entertaining videos sir! 👍

Thanks, all I do are low buck reliable driver builds, lots more to come. Thanks for watching!

Thanks, not as nice as a high dollar kit but it should do the job. Or at least I hope so!
Ok thanks. Good job 😊
Thanks boss! 😄
Thats a cool truck
Thanks, it will be when the A/C is working!

Did I miss the video on how you connected the transmission cable ?
I don't think I ever did a video on it, I modified a factory GM column shift linkage to work with the 60e. I will get a video next time I do one.

Anything can be done but in most cases I have found it is more work to try and adapt something rather than start from scratch.
@ makes sense, Thank you. Your truck is turning out Awesome!
Where is the parts list?
the job isn’t done yet, I will put something in an upcoming video once all the hardware is installed.
Expansion valve?
Just another term for the txv valve.
So you've been working on this for about 7 months. Do you have any idea as to how many hours you have into it all total?
I do, I have been keeping track of hours along with the dollars. Will discuss in the end 👍
