One tip that you could use is if you are at a resort and want to film the lift without it being too long, there is a time lapse mode you can use or you could speed it up in the editor app.
Great, comprehensive video. Was hoping that you would include tips on how to hold the selfie stick and your poles at the same time. You seem to manage it much better than I do.
I used to put it trough my Pole-Loop (with my "Leki"-Attachement it worked well, also I used a elastic spanner to fixate it just under the pole-handle.). With the Moto-Bundle you could mount it directly to the pole and not hold it anymore. I think just now they released a new "Pole-Mount". I prefer Follow-Cam from the back. For this I use the "Back-Bar" (not the Backpack-Mount). I think if you want to have it more behind, not just "up", it works better.
As I lost one OneX with the backpack (got loose and crashed to the ground lens first 😭) I prefer the Insta360 back bar waist strap (usually recommended for bike riding action). Gives you a safer mount, even more angles and it's much cheaper than a new cam unit 😉
Nice I just bought this camera for my son. I have a few questions. 1. What mount do you have attached to your helmet. Looks like it is a quick release and you did not double stick that the Unicorn mount to your helmet. 2. Do you have the old or new release unicorn mount. Any links to what you have will be appreciated
For the next camera here is what you should include: A camera diving case, that doesn't interfere with the stitching line and gives the camera a solid protection, so that extreme sports can be done without having the fear of it breaking. It should also work without having that oval formed case part. If you manage to do that, I thinnk your sales are going to double. Well done by marketing the x3, but that is something we still need. Something similar, would be the premium lens guards, like the one x2, but when you put them on the camera, it should again not interfere with the stitching lens. That is the only reason, why I and many of my friends didn't get the x3, because we are too concerned about not getting the lenses scratched when surfing, skiing, biking and so on....
Thanks for the info. Unfortunately the back pack mount backfired for me as it fell out of my pack near the end of the day at Breck! My very first day filming with the camera. Get something to thread into the bottom of the selfie stick with a loop and strap it down to your pack.
what settings are you using? sharpness, and color profile? is it better to shoot standard and use color plus, or just use vivid? are you using active HDR in your clip?
Is the helmetmount only one time use on helmet or i can that that mount of and put it on my other helmets too like for example other skiing helmets motorcycle helmets?

Got a link for that? I’m leaving in 3 weeks for Utah.
That’s what i was thinking. If one crashes the pole is gone

Well, glad to tell you they got the case now!! Even though it's a 100 bucks.. 🙃
@@ttankeI tried different lense guards … all of them kill the stitching. Everything you put on to protect the lenses is visible in the video.
Awesome thanks for the ideas!

Were you using a remote microphone? The sound quality was great while you were skiing and talking.

Unicorn mount looks sick...but Im wondering if the burliness of the cam makes it awkward at all.
Taking the insta 360 one r 1” to snowbird and Alta next week. Should I use a helmet mount?

Where to get this helmet mount?
Where to get the unicorn pole?
it feels so heavy when i mounted on my helmet, is it dangerous for my neck?
How did he hold his invisible stick at 1:46
With his hand
@SakhalinRider yea i mean what is that special mount called or how does it look like? i need to get one.
Make something which is rugged enough to protect those fragile lenses while shooting please 🙏🙏
They’re out now😅

To bad it’s litterly impossible to find any sort of accessories for these cameras in store alls they sell is only the cameras
The Insta360 website has tons of accessories
All GoPro accessories are easily converted. What accessories are you not able to find?
I just can't get on board with the fisheye effect. I don't wanna look like a man trapped in a bubble.

Is your camera dead?
Cool video, but the cadence of how he speaks is unbearable. Does anyone actually talk like that?
