I have a very similar story to yours from here in the USA. It's sad/crazy how many of us can relate to your story. My personal experience completely deterred me from pursuing a career in horses, I'm so glad you're sticking with it and creating your own business. Best of luck to you!
The issue is you see a sport where others see a business. You see animals while they see company assets. There’s no way of changing their mentality. What needs to be done is what you’re doing, talking about it openly, making outsiders aware of how it works! Good luck with your business
hi so ive been in the horse industry my whole life and didn't realize how toxic it was until i was in it as an adult. I worked at a place that i didn't agree with how me and the horses where being treated. i left! but i missed the horses so much so i kept looking for opportunities and found a horse community that i love and that has invested in me! i'm now a horse training intern! i'm so grateful for this opportunities whatever you do don't stop looking for the opportunities and put yourself out there you will find good people that want to invest in you and the horses don't give up.
Loved this! I’ve been stuck in a loop just trying to survive and move forward and pay for my horse, but I’ve spent more than half my time miserable. I absolutely love horses and love being around them, but my jobs make it incredibly stressful and sad. This inspires me to take a slightly different route that I hadn’t really thought about previously.
Hi Clara I just came across you today and subscribed! I am really wanting to follow your journey to a better equestrian world! Cheers from Canada 🇨🇦 🍁 ❤

Tack för att du delar din historia. Jag har varit med om liknande historia. Tyvärr så är det hästarna som hamnar i kläm.
