I have been using MMD. It can be tricky to use at first. However, they are many tutorials on how to load characters and how to make them dance etc.. I would start with how to load characters and how to make them move. Look at bones with each model and how to rotate them and twist them. Loading motion data's can help you learn as you can watch the bones move and it is the same with lip sync. Also, lovely cover.
