I need a brain specialist to give suggestions as to what I experienced. I don’t know what the heck my mind tapped into or what tapped into it but it was phenomenal unlike anything to ever experience on earth. I was under a lot of stress. At the same time I was reading about Buddhism. One day I was at work and I was just about to open a door my fingertips were right there on the doorknob… and suddenly my consciousness completely left the room, I was not there. All I could see was the cosmos it was as though I was in the cosmos as far as orientation goes/that consciousness no longer in the room thing, and there was a feeling of total freedom no hierarchy no burden no chains no bs no control it was the total opposite… and it wasn’t a voice I heard it was the feeling itself and yet there were words if that makes any sense that said “Go. GO. There’s NOTHING stopping you.” And I don’t know how long it was it felt like maybe 5-10 seconds but likely only a split of a second. But this is the unbelievable part… when I came back into that room and opened the door I met a practicing Buddhist. I was FLOORED. I suspect it was both the stress and the inspiration I was under-BOTH of these at the same time-that made this experience occur, but I’ll never be able to explain the Buddhist lol

@@James-g8q1e I can only guess it was what Buddhists seek: nirvana. It was an experience that came with a feeling we never have. And when I die I’m taking it with me it was phenomenal I really needed that it proved so much to my mind about the false pretences we all live under, which I had always suspected had always intuited had always really known. You have no idea the motivation the pull it gave me I no longer hear anything else we have been an oppressed species forever now. Not anymore.

@@James-g8q1e and I should also note, as it’s likely connected, a couple decades prior I had experienced the opposite feeling in the brain where it snapped from stress and I started to forget the odd thing nothing serious but I’d have a sudden memory relapse on dates for example. The wires healed on their own the slips stopped but I find myself feeling really lucky to have had both experiences with whatever these connections in the brain as it’s important the brain do what it needs to do in its own time. We live on a planet where greed tries to steal that.

I've experienced that. I spent years studying mystical experiences afterward and found the explanation required no magical thinking. It happens in times of great stress, near death, or psychedelic experiences. We lose ourselves because the analytical mind just stops making distinctions. Since all words denote some abstract concept or idea, the experience is beyond words. We find that the mind is like a filter, when that conceptual framework is gone, we experience pure consiousness, which is not grounded upon the individual mind. Hold on to that. Meditate on that glimpse into reality. You are lucky. Read up on Rudolf otto and William james.

Thanks for sharing! I believe these experiences can be brought onby psychedelics, astral projection, meditation etc. Or just randomly.

I love being generous and I'd like to care for animals someday, and to be self disciplined i acknowledge my feelings, thoughts, and mistakes to be disciplined, and I do Zazen meditation instead of breathing I focus on being silent in a room or place without distractions.

Great explanation, I'm a Hindu and we also believe in the same concept of Nirvana, in Hinduism we call it moksha, moksha means break out from the circle of life and death, depending upon the karma you did and dharma you obey in your lifetime, u will get better or worse in next life, and if you done everything right then you will get moksha, And moksha is the ultimate goal for human life.

    • @MrNataphong
      @MrNataphong 10 месяцев назад

Imagine if you are dying ,what’s in your mind?
Mostly flash back and then feel something to that back memorial like as guilt shame pity miss sorry hatred etc all that desires cause rebirth.
And enlightenment is you really see that’s just your desire. It’s over it’s enough. You fulfilled every moment in your life with conscious in every moment and action. No attachment anymore.

  • @BlindfoldedSight

nirvana is enlightenment. This is the resurection and ascension. This is the rainbow body. This is how angels are made. This is the great perfection. The freedom from samsara is found in life and not death. Eternal life. Immortality. Just as it says in the upanishads. When you have achieved nirvana you are in your final body and will not be reincarnating again. If you lose or let your body be destroyed you will be back to take up another body to try and perfect again.

You have understood that all that was "real" (the world you were in, including yourself) was an illusion. What remains ? Pure consciousness not bound to a physical existence. Bhuddism believe in steady state for everything has a property to be born and reborn again suffering though the process of rebirth. But when the time come everything will become steady enough for rebirth to not appear again. But to become steady enough for not to rebirth before Buddha in Hinduism belief is to become one with the one god. But for some reason everything must be reborn again the steady state is not that steady for it will break apart and being its life cycle again. So to break free from this cycle, is not to go though suffering and become nothing. Nothing mean u can’t be rebirth. No force can drive nothing to become a thing. No more karma, no more feeling, just a hollow emptiness of nothing. That is nirvana.

What is this business called living?
The bottom line of living is about a conscious being existing from moment to moment bombarded by sensory stimuli from the 6 senses (eyes, ears, nose, tongue, other tactile sensors and mind), to which the being has one of 3 possible reactions.
Neutral, in which case the corresponding reaction is likely nonwillful but autonomous according to the beings body physio-chemistry.
Pleasurable, in which case the being likes it and wilfully exerts effort to acquire this set of stimuli, sustaining it, and reacquiring it. This is called the greed reaction.
Displeasureable, in which case the being dislikes it and wilfully exerts effort to avoid this set of stimuli, escape it. This is called aversion reaction.
Every second the reality of life or existence is about reaction in one of the above ways. Nothing more nothing less.
No sensory stimuli is permanent. It arises, exists for a defined duration then attenuates. That's because the causality that gave rise to the conditions of stimuli itself is ever changing and impermanent. When the causality prevails the stimuli driven sensation comes in to being, when the causality attenuates so does the stimuli and sensation…
Life is about existence in the space-time-causality continuum called samsara… which is impermanent and always in a state of flux.
Another universal truth is that there are more displeasureable stimuli than pleasurable stimuli. At the very least, between one moment and the next, on the moments on either side of a pleasurable stimuli, before and after, are 2 displeasureable stimuli, before the effort put to acquire the pleasure stimuli, after the displeasure of the inevitability of the pleasure stimuli attenuating.
We're duped by the joy of the pleasure stimuli in to believing life is worth living for this pleasureable stimuli though the reality is that there's more displeasureable stimuli experienced by the being in the business of living.
This is the “viparinama dukkha” where at minimum you are in a cycle of displeasureable stimuli→Pleasurable stimuli→displeasureable stimuli. But there are also 12 types of dhukkas that crowd the cycle in reality.
These reaction propagation can be called mental volition samskara or naama.
    What is samskara?
It is the combination of physical matter the body with consiousness that we call a living being. They coexist in a joint venture one feeding off the other from moment to moment.
The reality of physical matter proven by quantum physics, is that it's a propagating energy wave. There's nothing solid or permanent. A quanta arises, sustains, attenuates only to arise again. Uthpada thithi bhanga cycle according to the doctrine of the Buddha. Nothing solid but a propagating energy wave… one cycle of the wave is a creation of the immediate past cycle of the wave and the next cycle is a creation of the current cycle of this present moment. This happens every quantum second.
This is the impermanence of matter samskara ruupa.
Add now to this consiousness, which is fed by stimuli encountered by the physical body, born of physics/chemistry physical nature of the universe (or imagination of the mind which is still electrochemistry of the brain), to generate one of the 3 types of reactions…
Naama ruupa samskara operating in tandem reduces the definition of existence to nothing more than a propagation of the self in a space-time-causality continuum called existence or samsaara.
If one looks at the matter analytically, one awakens to the truth that existence is a futile purposeless businesses of a never-ending cyclic propagation the carrot being the statistically lesser number of aggregate pleasure stimuli overwhelmed equally statistically by a greater number of displeasureable stimuli, the latter camouflaged by the greed for the former.
Thus the two concepts converge to the absolute awakening to the truth, dukkha arya sathya, the first noble truth.
Fortunately there are 4 noble truth in all and there's a way out of this predicament… complete stoppage of the propagation of the self in a space-time-causality continuum called existence, a state of nonexistence called nirvana.
How to go about that is the rest of the doctrine of the Buddha…

This video did not answer what nirvana or enlightenment are. It just states that it is the final goal. This is a real weakness of buddhism. How is one meant to attain a goal if you don't even have a clear idea of what the goal is? Strive for nibbana/nirvana. But, what is nibbana/nirvana? I don't know. Oh, OK, good luck with that.

True Christian become Buddhist and why is that? Because Christ self-realisation that he was one with God (true Yoga oneness) was from Christ journey to the land of Buddha between the ages of 19 and 28..so when he returned west=he brought deeper spiritual understanding to middle East and Europe, but there's no way they could understand=reason why mission of Salvation in western civilization failed!

Unlike Buddhism, Christianity offers an eternal existence in heaven. The Buddhist says this is temporal but Jesus Christ offered eternal life. It is real. I have experienced receiving that gift which has blessed my life. With that life, when one dies, he or she will be glorified, meaning they will no longer struggle with sin but will be made sinless (see Romans 8:28-30). So, how can we go to heaven? By repenting of our sins (i.e. breaking of God's Laws in thought, word, or actions). Examples of God's Laws are found in the Bible in Exodus 20 and Deuteronomy 5 and throughout the rest of the Bible. Repenting means we admit we are sinners that need saving. We express remorse to God for breaking His Laws. Then we turn away from trusting in ourselves, this world, false religions and ideas, the Devil, and following sin. Then we exercise faith in Jesus. Why? He is the savior of the world whom God the Father sent to die on the cross outside Jerusalem to save sinners from their sins. What does faith involve? Faith entails trusting in and submitting to Jesus as our Savior and Lord. Jesus promises to those who repent and trust in Him that He will forgive their sins, transform their lives for the better, and grant eternal life (John 3:16; 6:47; 20:10). This is real. Like I said earlier, I have experienced this transformation. I have meaning, eternal peace, joy, love, a sense of forgiveness, and hope and so many other wonderful gifts in my life because of Jesus. You can have this too. If you would like further encouragement on how to receive eternal life, check out our church website at: faithpearland.com and view our free videos on youtube at: www.youtube.com/@faithpearland. May God bless you. ~ Dr. Don Robertson, pastor

@@gao1812 The problem with Buddhism in rejecting the ego is that it leads to a person's losing their personality and ultimately embracing a spiritual lobotomy. That is not a attractive paradigm. Christianity, however, appreciates how God has made his people special and precious. Individuality is not demonized nor undermined but appreciated and valued by a personal God who made that personality. When Christians go to heaven they maintain their personal identity but are changed spiritually given glorified bodies and perfected spiritually without sin. Heaven is a place of absolute and endless love between the creator and his children. It's a place where glorified Christians do what is best for all those in heaven. They are not self-interested in a sinful way but look to do that which is always best for the other party. It is a world of love. It is a holy place without sin. That is an attractive place for all human beings who really think about it.

@Don Robertson you're wasting your time, buddy. I'm an ex-christian. Broke free from all the brainwashing, the logical falacies, and from harmful christian behaviour. Admitting to myself that something I believed in all my life was a lie was a painful, but ultimately liberating process that led me to true inner peace and contentment no god or any other false supernatural entity can provide, a happiness that comes from something real: the mind.

@@gao1812 I used to be an atheist before I became a Christian. That worldview was not liberating but depressing. It offers no hope or meaning for life. I thought about the implications of my belief system and all I had to look forward to was lights out at my death and nothingness. When I was intellectually honest about my beliefs as an atheist depression and meaninglessness was all I had. Many atheists simply ignore this reality or try to gloss it over. I was simple honest with myself and it was not pretty. This is the ugly truth about atheism. Besides, atheism provides no basis for morality. It all becomes subjective. That is why many Marxists atheists in the 20th murdered millions of people and considered those they murdered nothing more than vermin. Some atheists claim to hold to a certain moral code but that is just a meaningless viewpoint that is ever changing. Christianity and more importantly a personal relationship with Jesus Christ changed my life for the better. When I truly repented of my sins and put my faith in Jesus Christ I was forgiven of my sins and given eternal life. I truly experienced the gift of salvation (see John 3:3, 16; 6:47). Jesus became my best friend. I then had meaning and purpose for my life and existence. It was like the darkness and blindness of atheism left me and my mind and heart was enlightened with the truth. I then had the truth of the Word of God (e.g. the Bible) to guide my life since I had Jesus as my savior who is the truth, the life, and the way (John 14:6). As an atheist I considered committing suicide since I had no ultimate meaning for my life but when Jesus became my savior I wanted to live. I began to enjoy life to the full. I am sorry to hear that you have issues with Christianity Gao but I am blessed by it. Jesus has given me love for everyone including you. I even was racist as an atheist but Jesus took that attitude away. I want everyone to go to heaven through faith in Christ. I want everyone to know the joy of being a Christian. Christianity has provided me a coherent worldview. It simply makes sense of the complex designed universe that we see that also is imperfect. Its imperfection is a result of the fall of mankind (see Genesis 3). The hope that Christianity provides is that Jesus will one day return and redeem creation by correcting its fallenness. Until then, Christians seek to mitigate the curse upon creation by making things better (e.g. erecting hospitals, providing nursing care, discovering cures for diseases, building affordable housing, helping the poor, assisting in natural disasters, counseling the mentally ill, pursuing biblical justice, etc.). Dear Gao, my friend, I pray that you would reach back out to Jesus. I believe He would gladly extend His grace and love to you (see Matthew 11:28; Revelation 3:20). God bless you.

Do you think it is (JUST) to live a whole life with mother father, wife and children, just to die and forget about it completely?
And what kind of proof that Samsara is right… Did the one who created us and created this whole universe said so? that Samsara is the truth?
As a Muslim, our religion is clear as the sun in the sky, it is actually to submit yourself to your Creator, and to worship him alone… the same thing our father Adam peace be upon him did.
And that after death, in Judgment day, everyone will be held accountable for his own deeds, and in the end, there is heaven and there is hell
