Was thinking about getting a steam deck, I got a question about the fan sound, if I want to play God of War on medium/low graphics and around 40 fps is the fan loud enough for others in the room to hear and be distracted. I know you probably don’t have God of War but it’s just a general question. I don’t mind a loud fan because i grew up with Xbox one but I don’t want to be sitting in the room when my mom walks in and complains about the fan noise.
The loudest I have experienced the steam deck fan run at would definitely be on Sunday when I finally put windows 10 on a USB and started to install some games from epic games launcher 😅 Downloading those games created a bit of fuss but I’ve never really had any problem with the volume of the fan or concern with wear and tear. I know that this product is incredible and it’s the best $400 device ever made.

I made this 3d printed thing that directs the airflow behind the deck and reduces the noise by a lot
