This is truly one of the best gravel work videos on RUclips. I bought an RK24 back in April 2021 with the backhoe, loader, grapple and box blade. 140hrs on the clock already and have got tons of work done. It’s performed flawlessly.
I'm doing a driveway extension and prepping ground for a pole barn with a TYM T254. I need to use all my dirt to fill in the low spots in my yard and grade the slope but all the clumps of sod make this less than desireable. I decided to order a tiller and that way I can chew up the sod and the dirt together and then spread it uniformly over the property. Wish me luck.
My dad and I are looking into buying another tractor cause we sold our kioti and we’ve been looking at the little RK24 so theses videos has help us, thank ya.
I liked your video, I have a RK24 as well. Purchased 18 months ago, very robust tractor, have had no problem with it at all. Thanks for your time with this presentation
You could try using the cutting edge on the back of your box blade. Start with it on levelish ground, that way your tractor would stay level and not follow the all the bumps.
Awesome job! I have the RK21 with the 4 ft box blade. I've dressed-up my driveway and laid in a mere 15 tons of limestone 2A with fines in areas I extended the driveway & new parking areas. The RK tractors are economical and serious workhorses.
Nice job. I have an RK55 and have really enjoyed working on it. I watch videos of smaller tractors that take longer to do the job but I also reminded turning around on grass i didnt wasnt to dig would destroy it. Enjoy.
It's a good idea to "set" the larger stone with a roller to pack it down for a base for your smaller material. That way it also won't want to mix and burp up big chunks while spreading and grading the small rock.
Absolutely, I'll be ordering more for a parking pad. If a plant has it near you, it can't be beat for the price. But not everywhere has a crusher with the appropriate screens for different size gravel.
good job with that tractor! Im looking at a rk24 or a rk37 but dont have a dealer near me and i dont know if the 24's to small for me. May i ask how tall you are?
@@marcbandit1132 The chair is comfortable. The foot pedals and controls are located just fine. If I could change anything about the fit of the tractor, I would make the steering wheel adjustable. But even with that I think the tractor is a good size.
Love my rk24. More robust than my neighbors larger JD. Have had problems with excessive condensation here in central fl causing water to build in the filters and eventually get to the motor. If this happens to you, it's an easy fix. Turn off the fuel valves to the side and front fuel filter. Pull them off one at a time, clean, refill with diesel and reinstall. Take the air filter out and using a squirt can, squirt diesel into the throat of the intake and try to reatart the tractor. You will probably have to do this three to five times, but it will restart. Don't let it's size fool you.
I wish i lived near a rural king store, But i did the next best thing and bought a TYM-254 (pretty much identical blood line) ... and wouldn't hesitate to buy this tractor in the video if your in the market.
Love the clearing of the land! Love this process! I'm obsessed! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
great video and beautifully balanced audio. I learned a ton!
Was a great video. Enjoyed it. Learned a little. Thanks
I'm glad you got something out of it. Thanks for watching.

Thank you. I appreciate the kind words and I'm glad your tractor has been as handy as I'm finding mine to be.

Thanks for the tip, and thanks for watching. I appreciate both.
"Pave paradise and put up a parking lot"
Were you happy with the crushed concrete?

@@sittricsshop7849then we are the same height.
Do you feel like the tractor size is good for a man your size ?

Thanks for the tip and thanks for watching my video. I have a few involving the RK24 if you're interested.
Where are all of the rocks in that dirt??? Fine looking ground you've got there!
Nice work , what part of the country are you at.
Thank you. I am in the midwest.
Nice work! Who did you get your recycled concrete from?
Thank you! Phillips Company in Vandalia. They're who I'll use from now on.
Is that a 5 ft box blade ? I have a 4 ft it has no adj.on teeth. Love my rk24 doing 50 hour service this weekend.
That's great to hear. I have really enjoyed my tractor. The 5ft box blade from Royal King has been a nice addition as well. Thanks for watching.
Go job first time a
Let's see what you got going on in that barn and workshop brother. Do a walkthrough video!
I'll probably have a walkthrough on the workshop soon. The barn probably not for a while.

It's been a great little tractor around the property. Do you have a backhoe for your TYM-254?
