Great channel, I really like how much you effort goes into making this. That lap 1 incident sucks, I had something similar happen in a race a few weeks ago, I had a lock up avoiding an incident on lap one and the pack dropped me I never caught up! How frequently does this league run?

Thanks for the compliment Quinn! The first lap incidents suck, but that’s racing I guess. The league currently has a race event monthly. Last one for the year is coming up this weekend.

Some of the Sodi SWS guys are quick, but not so when they get into a real kart, I have had 2 of them in Enduro's in the last few years who came in as "Hot Shot's", sadly not so, both are good drivers but not great drivers. I'm mentoring one up now trying to get him closer to my pace, were getting there only 1.2 -2.5 (depends on track) seconds to go driving the same kart. With current team mates I end up doing 50-60% of the race the rest spread between the 2 other drivers. Good vid's keep them coming.

Thanks again Michael 🙂, I could see how jumping into a new kart that requires different driving style and techniques would require some time and possibly coaching to come up to speed. Would this not be the same for someone jumping from a lo206 or ka100 kart into a shifter kart? I guess the question we have to ask is; if someone has only driven Rental karts previously, should that invalidate that person as a karter and their achievements completely?
      Thank for the replies! 👍🏻

@@TheNoobKarter Both had been racing in 4SS/4SE and TagR as for a couple of years as well, so not new to it. The one I'm helping has driven this kart more then me.

Nice karting, but to be honest, those are not racing karts. I mean, they can have upgrades, but they are rental karts. True karts do not have a surrounding bumper, nor that type of seats, and they would require you to use nomex racing suits. but its ok :)

Thanks Stephano! Yea, the karts aren’t exactly racing karts. But there is no kart club around, so if anyone wants to race they have to do rentals. This makes the racing very competitive, especially at the front. The racing is real, but the karts are slow I guess.
