Shizuka even used Level 3 Combat Arts (such as that guard-breaking Cold Artillery Gatling and that deadly Wave sniping shot. But luckily the pressure during those sticky situations made me improvise the use of Neutral Guard Arts plus Perfect Guard.
Thanks! I do it because it's the only way to choose a direction for your shield when using a controller. If you use keyboard and mouse, you don't need to do that.
Very entertaining to watch ! A lot more interesting than the other video I've found with a guy that refused to use combat arts "because it's too strong" but who was hard cheesing her with some lame and super easy to do dash cancels perma cc melee abuse lel
@@ZoraPMC alright so, there really is no way to survive the ultimate wave element on the highest difficultly, but you can effectively defeat her before that point.

Reminds me of Mega Man 8 after you beat Bass. :p Anyways, even though I think I accidentally overleveled from the Level Amp thing and Equipment at 66 to her 60, I definitely went all out with so many quick reflexes and intense fighting, I think I was definitely the most immersed in this fight and trying to win than any other battle in the game. XD But yeah, seeing them make up in the DLC and being able to have a rematch with her in the arena but on good terms, on top of every other heartwarming moment, especially in the DLC... it makes me really happy to see that, you know?
Is there a gear that makes effective attacks 3 times stronger?! it's ridiculous how much overall damage u do at that level/stats; for example at 0:20 u use a mere lvl.2 fire-form dash attack and drag her HEAVY 1698hp (~45%) with an attack of 330 - I tried to mimic that by going the same lvl as u n equipping gear til I was at 334 atk, fire-form, same dash attack, u know what damage I did - 584 and yes I paid close attention she's still in ice-form while I was hitting her just like u showed off here and tried this at least 5 times, always same result; after that I lowered the difficulty of the game by setting all percentages from 100 to the resp. minimums - no difference in takin damage for her just how quick she recovers and dealt damage by her, so I'd like to have an explanation why u do ~3 times as much damage under I would say roughly exact same criteria, tf dude, also any other of ur attacks, u just need one or another charged attack here and there and she's down already - not so in my game edit: ok I just saw another vid of this fight and that dude has 335 atk and does the same amount of insane damage even in neutral form, so either there's a friggin equipment/skill I just haven't seen so far or the devs just decided to alter the fight in a later version of the game - it's anyway strange. btw I could provide a video showing my weakhanded character in comparasion to all of urs, I don't get it..
You can see my equipment in the last few seconds of the video, maybe that helps? I never paid close attention to the damage mechanics in this game, so maybe they just tweaked them over the years.

You cannot perma stun in PvP with basic melee attacks because they will dodge out after a few hits. They probably knew the vurnerable timings well.

Do you mean dash canceling to continue the melee string? Cause if you do the game teaches you how to do that

My FAVORITE TYPE OF FINALE BOSS FIGHT... A PvP 1v1 against yourself basically. Not many games have this type of moment.
But u know its not the final boss right? Some games have semi final battle related to main character’s rival which is kinda the same with PvP?
