This song always made me wanna grab my board and go skate. Was fine when I was 20 I'm 50 this yr and it still makes me wanna go skate lol quiet incredible 😂
When this album came out, there was this toll free phone number you could call to listen to 10 second clips of new music. I think this was the song that introduced me to the band in all its analog phone line quality glory. After listening to those 10 seconds repeatedly I saved up my $15 and bought the CD at one of those chain music stores at the mall and still have it. Good times.
This was one of my favorite albums as a kid in the 90s. It's hard to understand how they did not get bigger...without youtube I dont think ive met another fan.
I’m 43, music taste has changed over the years, back in 92/93 I was only into oldskool rave. As I got older, I appreciate all genres and one I ignored growing up, metal, I absolutely adore now. What an awesome song and band!
Same here. My favourite album in 92 when I was about 12 was probably Altern 8's album. Then met friends into metal etc a few years later. Therapy was one of the bands I was now listening to. Is good. But then I discovered Tool - Lateralus and then everything else before it was now basically crap. So I then discovered the best highbrow bands to exist like Can, This Heat and The Residents. Most recent discovery is The Chameleons. They are good. a few of their songs are a bit like Therapy. This one for example.. ruclips.net/video/pDSnpc1W1Vc/видео.html
@@jackietreehorn5561Understand where you are coming from. Previously I was into punk, grunge and faithless, leftfield, and really got into me MDMA and rave. These days I'm really enjoying Therapy and The Rumjacks. Maybe getting older that original source of the heartbeat makes strong?
was born in 1995 and until I was 13 I only listened to punk oi. metal heavy, black, death, trash, speed. Around 14 I started listening to gabber industrial speedcore darkore hardtek, freetekno, tribe, acid. but I've never abandoned metal...and now that I'm 28 I love it more than ever THERAPY have always been the middle ground between pop and underground, although in my opinion much more underground and this album is one of the most beautiful and complete alternative rock / metal albums of the 90s🤟🏼🤟🏼🤟🏼
The Chameleons - Script of the Bridge is more underrated. 1st song from it even sounds well like Therapy, before Therapy.. ruclips.net/video/3bVstqeK1GM/видео.html
The Offspring - Smash, Bad Religion - Stranger Than Fiction, and Therapy? - Troublegum. These three albums were influential in shaping my music tastes as prior to the second half of 1994 my listening habits were dictated by the charts and what the rest of my family listened to. Self Esteem, 21st Century (Digital Boy), and Screamager still easily hold places in my personal top ten.
Total Dramarama vibes. Love it. Wish I discovered these guys sooner. I always knew Auto Surgery from the Road Rash intro but never knew who or what it was.
One of the best bands out there! Now that you mention it, I guess it kinda does have Total Drama vibes! Ahahaha! Also, Road Rash… shoot! I just played that again on a Windows 98 machine. For some reason, the MIDI is all screwed up cause after completing a track… it bleeds into the audio from then onward. I think it’s due to the CD-ROM being scratched but can’t say. I’ll admit, Road Rash gave some of the best accidental musical discoveries I have ever had. Side note: Innocent X is a kick-ass song by Therapy? next to ones like Accelerator and Opal Mantra.
Yes thank God for rage when I was a kid found out about many great bands from all over the world! That was late night television in my day cheers regards!
Lived directly across the street from me at one time, cool dude, great drummer. Loved this band, rediscovering now, don't know why I stopped listening.
I'm here cause I saw these guys playing at a bar I happened to be at in the 90's..The singer came out and had a beer with us after the set...I loved them..got the CD....And today reminiscing, I looked to see if I could find this tune..wasn't disappointed
First Therapy? I ever heard was the shortsharpshock EP in the mid 90's, reminds me of sitting in a park all day with friends, drinking cheap cider, smoking hash and just living that easy teenage life, loved this band for nearly 30 years now, can't wait to see them live again in March.
My old teacher Mr Fisher got me into them last year when I was 15. I’m now 16 n seeing Therpay? On the 2nd of December which is 24 days before my birthday. This song changed my life n got me through a very hard time. This band has brought out masterpiece after masterpiece. I wish I was born in the 90s so I could have been there from the beginning
I listened to a song years ago called ‘Hey Ophelia’ by MC Lars and loved it, up until today I thought that was an original song, heard this on the radio and I was like wow I love this song had to check who sang it, must say this is miles better had it on repeat love finding songs like these
got introduced to this band yesterday when my dad was playing it in the car, first impression was actually amazing and now I’m going through their discography lmfaoo
Super....das müsste 1995 gewesen sein....da war ich mit einem Freund auf dem Konzert in Stuttgart.....tolle Zeit.....Therapy live.....da ist es voll abgegangen.....
Man, I remember going to Air&Style snowboarding competition in 1998. Live gigs by Therapy? and Cypress Hill. Drunk as a skunk. Exactly what 15-year-old me needed.
Who's listening to this in 2024?
Still a banger🔥
Me. Way way better than black or white fat ass rapper.
poeple with good taste in music
...and every year leading up to 😊

This album was definitely a blast. A masterpiece of the 90s.
Yep!
Totally agree 👍, saw them in concert 96 and was fantastic
listen this so many times
Never gets old.
It's one of those albums i can play through in one sitting an not come across a song i don't like
Therapy? and Faith No More are most underrated bands!
Troublegum changed my life back in the 90s. an absolute beast of an album!
And still an absolute banger front to back 30years later
Hell Yeah Bud! For me too! Was 12 when it came out and still feels new to me! Beast of an album indeed!
used to listen this at school in the 90s, still listening in 2024
Almost 42 years old, we're still here in 2023! ❤
Love this track so so much

This band is so underrated. I just got into them less than an hour ago and they are so rad
Welcome aboard.
You're in for a treat!
They made no bad songs when Ffyfe was in the band.
A slight dip afterwards, but generally all their material is stellar.
the song "gone" is one of my favs
The whole of infernal love is awesome too
Underrated? You just heard them. Most of us have been listening since the 90’s so no, not underrated. Rated 🤘

the GREATEST band to ever come out of Northern Ireland................LEGENDS!
To be fair that bar is pretty low.
@@fredfredburger5150 Stiff Little Fingers, The Undertones or The Them beg to differ.

This band were HUGE in my youth. Incredible, still now.

brilliant snare sound ... :)
great drummer
mmm I dont like it... :(
I mean the drum sound
It's so... violent! The fill at 0:22 before the main riff is brutal. Drummer seems to be from the Dave Grohl school of playing lol

First band I ever saw live in Dublin SFX with Cop Shoot Cop, Kerbdog, and Big Ron and the Rectums. Great night

Obsessed with this song right now!! 🎸
The 1st song I heard by Therapy back in the 90s.

Saw them for the infernal love tour at Brixton in i think 96. Absolute class band
When teaching abroad I played this to my class to teach them English- the double meanings in the song make it a great (but dark) lesson!
Could you elaborate a bit on those double meanings? English is not my mother tongue. Seems like I don't get them.
Underrated band but I love you so much ❤
Now thats we call music
