I never comment, but man are you under-rated. Top Quality Information delivery. Top Quality Guided Breathworks. Relaxing and Soothing voice. You genuinely have changed my life to the better and I'm grateful for that.

Thanks, Mike. I really like how the coherence breathing sets a pace for the humming and Ujjayi. It will be interesting to see what blend is next!

I'm finding the ujayi inhale surprisingly stressful, generation an anxious feeling. Will this improve over time, any suggestions?

This is just my opinion but another way to look at the ujayi is like a yawn inhale. It's creating a slight constriction in the throat at the back and then the humming is a vasodilator and so it's opening again and so you're closing the throat and opening the throat and then swallowing the saliva. As you smooth the mucus into saliva this should get easier.

Same here! I can't tell if it's the breath itself or if it's the fact that I can't tell if I'm doing it right that's stressing me out.

My HRV goes down when I do this. From around 60ms to 38ms. Would that just indicate I was stressed and maybe need to drink some water and repeat the exercise?

    Hello!
    Thank you for posting this.
When doing this session, towards at the end of it I feel like I want to hold my breath after exhaling without needing another breath. Sort of like the 90 seconds hold after a round of rapid nasal Wim Hoff breathing.
I am also new to doing breathing practices and a lot of these have the same effect on me. Feels like I take in too much air, I get a little bit lightheaded (in sort of a pleasant way). Is this normal at the beginning ? Maybe the more I'll practice I will become more adjusted?
    Thanks !

I rarely smile as much as I do when my exhales include humming 💜 Thank you
