After fixing the minor issues I had with my Tactics Waistcoat/Freedom Leader Optimus figure I am sorely tempted to get this one. He'd look great with original TW OP's axe.
Transformers have to be pretty lucrative considering they can develop one character then just swap the color and sell it as a completely different character.

Seekers, ironhide/ratchet, Datsun brothers, Cliffjumper and Bumblebee (unfortunately), reflector/refractor, most fembots, sideswipe/red alert/etc, most of the new mercenaries, Soundwave/soundblaster, and of course, Optimus Prime/Nemisis Prime. Who did I forget?

My son is 11 and can transform this no problem without a manual. You can ask him anything about any transformer and he will far exceed a Wikipedia answer. Thats why i ordered him one!! My first Toyworld buy!
Oh wow. So I actually came across this box at a local store downtown the other day, I had no idea it was a Nemesis Prime Freedom Leader repaint. That's pretty cool
In my own irrelevant opinion I perceive this as by fathoms the absolute best nemesis prime figure I have ever seen and anyone would be hard-pressed to beat this masterpiece. COBRAAA!!!
Thanks for the thorough review. My only hope for this was if they did an EXCELLENT job in ensuring all the tolerances (especially the wrists and chest) were fixed, but it looks like they failed in that job. The wrist looks super limp and the chest looks like it holds together OK but not great, which is not enough. I had the original deluxe and it was one of the biggest letdowns in a long time, and this one simply doesn't do enough to entice me to buy. Why didn't they just make it so the LEDs change color too? Including two of every single accessory is strange, except the blast effects and axe pieces which make more sense. The neck adapter is something they should have had from the beginning, but again not enough to make me want this, despite the excellent paint job.
Good review. I watched those after I preordered the last one available a few days ago. I didn't realize it was so neat. I like the lights and sound, the paint looks like it should. Very well made. The masterpiece is not necessary for me to buy now. This one is cheaper than the MP. I look forward to receiving it.

(If I had both figures I could just imagine the different poses to put them in for it to be “a battle of the duplicates” but overall good review and great figure.)

Being that nemesis is my favorite, then I will definitely be checking this out
If they really wanted to go all out with the “red or purple” theme of this figure, then they could’ve retooled the chest so you can pop out the red windshield and replace it with a purple one
Just got mine. Red blaster not functioning light or sound correctly, purple one broken at tip. Missing brake/indicator lens on left foot. Sucks when you want to unbox and setup and you have problems.

Right hand wrist is still very loose and floppy 😞 Overall a very good figure - an excellent alternative to 3A's exclusive of Nemesis Prime.
