i gotta say as a practicing buddhist, the way this monk talks is incredibly powerful and stirs up fears to get you to take action.

My understanding is that there are a few general categories but how it manifests is similar to the message above. It can manifest in a way that is similar to how your mind functions now. More detailed description of karma functioning this example as an effect similar to the cause. Allegory; a fisherman vows to stop killing but has no other way to support his family. So he only keeps fishing to do so. Next life in heavenly realms by day and hell rounds by night. Although I am the sort he says I'm done poojas empowerments retreats I do have focus on 1 Buddha. abut anger is simple frustration are strong so it's easy t it's kind of a self-made hell right now. The habit is so strong it's easy to feel how mind might continue to be drawn to it. Another weird layer is I can't actually say I believe in reincarnation because I can't say I remember any past lives. I Tell people it's the best theory I think there is how consciousness works I but don't really know at all. Just it's a habit I mean practice that I have found myself drawn to it's hard to say why. To me these things just show up deeply I guess instinctually you could say drawn without even thinking about it. Seems that's at least part of what he's focusing on here. Must say I have some problems with guru devotion because I have been aware of sexual this conduct buy some clergy I have worked with. kind of devotional relationship he is Speaking of seems very hard to establish

@@darrellprice7014 Thanks for your long reply. The biggest issue I have with Buddhism is it does not deny the existence of God or Supreme Being or the First Cause yet claims it is irrelevant to how we live our lives. That is too big of a leap. A Creator must be also the law giver who wrote His moral laws in our hearts that innately we know right from wrong. Another assumption is that God created the universe and left us alone to our devices. Just like road was built but it needs maintenance to be useful. Just by our discussion being carried out points to the fact God put logic in our intellect.

@@danpan001 Buddhism does not deny the existence of God, but it denies that God is the creator of everything. God in Buddhism is a sentient being with a lot of power but is still trapped in Samsara. Which means that he is still contaminated with mental impurities that will make him suffer. Gods can fall from their level, Buddhists do not believe in creationism or eternalism.
However, God can be a helper, because he is at a high level and can bless you, you need to know which god to turn to.

@@DianaAlejandra That is not my understanding of Buddhism. There is no difference between Buddhism and Judio Christian understanding of who God is. He is the Original Cause or Creator which any other beings material or immaterial (like angels) are created beings. The argument of Buddhism ( from the sermons of Delai Lama and other Chinese monks) is that we don't care about the Creator because we only want to achieve enlightenment and the Creator doesn't get involved with our lives.
