I am a german person living in germany and I think his german is actually really good! ofc there are some grammatical mistakes but honestly I am not even able to talk without mistakes...It's just incredible that he actually sounds pretty german in my opinion so respect to him! (also he's so cute while talking german holyyyy)

As a german, it's funny to hear them speaking my language. Yangyangs german is not correct but very good and almost without accent and the other members are surprisingly good too. I'm not an nctzen but I have friends who are. But these traitors didn't tell me that wayv has a member who speaks german....

I see what you’re saying, honestly, in my perspective, I don't really think this is the situation here. every time yangyang (who knows &) speaks in german, they feel so proud of him. in the videos, they seem to show so much excitement when yangyang speaks german and try to speak like him as well so it looks like they know german too! and they get so much happy when they say the words correctly or understand german w/o yy translating it for him! plus others haven't learned german! and it's just them trying their best! but anyway I hope you enjoyed the video and everything is crystal clear!💚🥰
@@cherrybom Where's your sense of humour? Would it be so terrible if they made fun of it a bit? It's not unlikely, because firstly Koreans often make fun of other native Koreans when they make mistakes in their own language, and secondly, let's face it, there's a long history of stereotypes about the German language, eg that it doesn't sound pleasing. In a famous play by Oscar Wilde, The Importance of Being Earnest, a female character says, "I always feel so plain after my German lesson." I'm German, and I find that hilarious!

There are a few more clips on YT. Some members of Super Junior, esp Leeteuk, seem to have started to learn a bit of German long ago, because they wanted to come to a concert, but sadly so far they haven't (they've been to Paris and London). In an online concert that was availably internationally, they included German in the greeting.

Hi, I'm trying to learn German and I look for some funny content in German (cause I've seen all Yangyang German videos already xd) can anyone give me some recommendations?
Hi! i hope you have a fun time learning german! for yangyang, there is actually some good crumbs of talking in german, and not gonna lie, every time you feel you need any kind of inspiration, check the yangyang content! cause mixing something you like [in this case I assume, kpop] with something you're doing helps A LOT! due to the previous point, try to find anything you like related to german, it can be music [which I recommend 'NAMIKA'], books or movies [you can buy/download books or movies that are translated to german, have german subtitles or dubbed in german, especially the ones that you know the storyline], watching youtube videos about it and when if your german is in a level you can translate regularly most of the texts, try translating k-pop [or again, generally any music you like] lyrics or actually k-pop entertainment content that they are talking in easy words, and also get help if you have someone that speaks german! i hope these notes help you! i will help you as much as i can if you have a question!

@@maru9094 Willkommen! happy to hear you enjoyed her music! it's ok if you can't understand/translate immediately, based on your level, you can read different lyrics and try to translate them, or read the translation and then adjust/match the actual german words. Dont worry about german getting hard, you would learn more through time! a thing my teacher used to say was to practice every day, because german can leave your mind if you dont work it every day/consistently! so even if its yangyang german content or if its namika, or generally anything deutsch, try to keep up w them consistently 💚

Well, truth be told, it's a bit like the one-eyed leading the blind, because YangYang's German isn't very reliable, but it's fun, because German doesn't sound cute, and these guys are super adorable. Love how Lucas really gets into it like, "Cool, another couple of million girls for me to flirt with in their language now!" and Ten is like, "Whatever you say, say it with a smile!" So yeah, I get why people want YangYang as their German teacher, although as a native speaker I wouldn't recommend it. (He came to Germany as a teenager, which means he was already past the "critical age" of language acquisition, after which very few people are able to learn a language on the level of native speakers).
yangyang himself even stated that it has been a while since he spoke german, and he might have forgotten a bit, but overall it's so cute to see him and wayv put their best effort to speak german!

It's just unnecessary and annoying to exaggerate so much, eg "He speaks like a native" or "He's better than my German teacher," which gives people who don't speak the language a false impression. It's fine to love someone flaws and all, personally I regard that as an even greater form of love than to pretend they are perfect.

I was never that proud of someone than of German mixed Kpop Idols or Kdrama Actress, like Yangyang from WayV (like we know) Taiwanese-German; Alexander from Drippin half Korean, half German; Moon ga young (actress) Korean born in Germany; Tia from Chocolat, half Korean, half German/Puerto Rican; Melanie from Chocolat half Korean, half German/Italian; Juliane from Chocolat also half Korean, half German/Italian and I guess there are more half German mixed Idols and that's great to see.
