My money says Stu just has a damaged BMW and falls to his knees and yells “NO! Who would do such a thing?!” every time he walks to his car with someone new.
I was there that night. Sam thought he was bombing because the mic wasn't picking him up all the time, so the laughs were hit or miss. It was definitely not his fault. It was his fifth show of the weekend. Can't imagine he went the previous two nights with the same problem. Because he thought he was bombing, he was struggling to get momentum mid set. This was toward the end of the show, after eventually someone said we couldn't hear him, so he went to this material, which I figure he knew half the room already knew from his special and would be receptive to it, and he hit it out of the park!
@@kylecook7187 I kinda want to see Stu's magic act now, but only if he says wild #%it. It sounds funny to have a magician who talks a bit like a gangster.
I met the real "Stu" and he's exactly as Sam described. When I asked if he was really the guy that Sam talks about, he showed off the back of his jean jacket with VA Beach written on it and said to me "Look at me, I f'ing RUN Virginia Beach." 😂
As someone’s adult autistic grandson myself, I hit ‘subscribe’ on your channel right after I watched you tell that story in this clip. You shouldn’t have to, but thank you for standing up for our ability to be as equally sh*tty as any other sh*tty audience member without it being reduced to whether we’re autistic or not. Even in clips where you say that you’re bombing, your work is always solid. I’m so glad you’re in comedy. Keep it up.
What a weird thing to review. “If you happen to be in Naples, and happen to be looking for a comedy club, and New York comic Sam Morrill happens to be a headliner there-and you happen to have an adult autistic grandson-then don’t go.”
I love how brutally honest he is. I’m from New York, and sometimes I forget how we are. Every time I watch his work, I always remember how New Yorkers tend to seem from other people. This guy is my hero. Absolutely love him. Really awesome dude, I think.
Sam is one of the best working comics today. OK top 20. So fucking good. GREAT writer, smooth delivery, found a perfect voice, great story teller, a craftsman, a national treasure. He is asking himself who is above and below him on my list. It's human nature, Mark Normand and you are tied, I am not going there.

This was great, thanks for posting it. I love the version on your special and this is was a great way to see how bits can be performed differently at different shows,.
I just came from the "white knight" video, where it ends with Sam replying to Joshua's email, "I'm in Naples". Y'don't know how much I tripped out when this auto loaded
Sam, I’m a definitely a fan. I love all the greats. But, I have to admit you and Mark Normand are my newest favorite comedians. Wish y’all the most success.
Sitting here listening to it in the background, his voice at times, reminds me of Greg Giraldo, a true legend. Idk if Sam will soar that high, but he truly has the best chops of any newish comedian, especially with original material.
Sam I don't get how these hacks can get Netflix specials yet they're completely ignoring your talent. Keep up the great work man ! I love We Might Be Drunk !
You know what would be great? If a bunch of ppl showed up to one of Sam's shows with some picket signs and fuckin' halfway through his show put up the sings and started picketing hahaha
Just. Found you on RUclips and I love you even though I live in naples. Yes we are old. Hope you might consider coming to off the hook comedy club. Ill bring tons of friends
Here's the cities worth going to in Florida: Tampa, Miami. That's it. Maybe Daytona or Clearwater but just for the beach. Or Orlando but just for Disney World.

Does Stu really run Virginia Beach?
@@kylecook7187 I kinda want to see Stu's magic act now, but only if he says wild #%it. It sounds funny to have a magician who talks a bit like a gangster.
Stu and the white knight are classics
That guy fucking loves Cleveland
Sam has some of the most interesting stories of all time. Every time we get a new story it's always so worth the wait
Just came from there
i thought the white knight story was the best story i heard from sam but Stu tops it all, I laugh so hard at Stu the Magician
"You loveable sleeze". Gotta start using that lol Great set

Shout out to Stu!
We might be drunk is a fantastic podcast
He talked about it on Rogan. Idk if there was one before though
When are you going on tour with Stu? Come for the magic, stay for the comedy that bombed in Naples.

Sam is the kind of guy who can smile all the time because he’s genuinely NICE 😱 and chill instead of seeming like a creep!
Somehow he is. I mean, he's brutal but also sounds compassionate and decent, i don't know how.
Clearly a misunderstanding. Stu is just athletic and RUNS the beach.
