Funny you doing that with the corks on the skimmer i have two foam balls under the lip lifting it a bit as well as i found the same it seems to pull more right off the very top. Hope your temps get up soon thanks for filming

I’d put a net on a roller like a pool cover works👍 so you roll it back over when the heron is around

The net at the shallow end is ok. Can't really notice it and once the lilies have grown again, you won't see it at all.

Your temps are probably stopping your bio building up as it should this time of year. Good to hear the water changes helped. The net at the shallow end will do the job. Good update mate i am feeding 100g a day of all season wheatgerm.

I've found my filteration system works alot better if I feed well instead of minimal (At mo on 6 feeds a day) 20+g each feed. I've only got 6 koi in 3x2x1.20 and trickle in /out

Few koi keepers said fluke solve hasn't worked I use sterazin p works for me always used it I would leave end net good somewhere for koi to go if heron does cum good luck 👍

You learn to look past the net. Feeding 25 g of Saki Multi daily, and 30 g of shrimps with15 g of rice as a carb supplement every other day.

@@jiffsterkoi Still covered, pond temp 23.5 yesterday 22.7 this morning. Chilly 8 outside this morning with some ice pellets brrr. We've at 30 degree temps few day in a row last week.
