      Yeah, the ice cave was so great. We wish we could have stayed longer and read everything. There's so much information about the history and geology of Iceland. Such a fascinating place!

      @@PerfectLittlePlanet i did indeed was amazing, we was outside for 4 hours when it was also recorded as the coldest its been in Iceland near Vik on the south

    is the entrance to restaurant/cafe free?

      No, you need to pay admission to the museum to get to the restaurant and cafe. There's no way to just go eat there without paying for the museum.

    How long would you allocated to Perlan? Anything else nearby to look at? What is the best way to get there?

      If you want to read and learn about everything, I'd set aside about 2 hours. We were there about 90 minutes, but could have stayed longer if not for our son urging us to go.
