QUESTION: Did you find this useful? Does my mic actually work? I hope this provides value, and maybe exists in some nebulous in-between best-practices regiment vs. "do it however you feel on that day based on how the clouds look". Sometimes you just need something in the middle. Also, I definitely said slideable nester (i think this is a Spoonerism?)
What comes into my mind after watching this tutorial, if you want a total consistent design on your website, this is a good way to build the site with ACSS & frames. But what if, i need to build out a lot of different small funnels, every page have unique design, different button layout and so on. I mean, it is still possible to use frames, but a lot of the settings in ACSS are useless. - Never thought of this before, after seeing your workflow it's pretty clear.
i'd be interested to learn more what you mean? I assume you are talking primarily about the buttons in this case, since they are in the dashboard of ACSS. I guess you have a couple options. I only used Action and White buttons in this video, but you have what, 4 or 5 more to choose from? The other thing is you can always style these classes and create modifiers for them in your wpcodebox or even with the Bricks classes themselves and create variations. Will be interesting to see if ACSS does what Coreframework and Advanced themer did, and allow users to create their own classes in their dashboard, or something to that effect.
good idea, thanks! it's a homepage created in Divi I've got it here on a dev server: ameravantdesign.com/saas/ - feel free to grab the images too. I'll add this to the description in case anyone else is interested. Let us know how it comes out!
@@Justin-Bamforthmy bad, i turned off all the caching stuff on that, so it should work now. i'll see if I can find the original link too, it was a Divi layout seller who has nice designs.
Hey what about the new free CORE Framework? Bricks Plugin ltd (not necessary). Will yoi test it? Its a capable easy to use and customize gui css framework.
i've played around with it and its a great tool from great devs. I might make a video about it - I am kind of surprised more people haven't. I havent because I use ACSS every day on sites and haven't really had a chance to sit down with CF. I am also very attached to the right click to add variables in ACSS, and I know i'd miss it. Definitely keeping my eye on the component library development. have you had a chance to use it on any sites?
Hi! Im looking forward to your video :) true, nearly no content in youtube till now, which is sort of surprising. I installed the CORE WP Plugin and boight the Bricks addon. And I bought the templates from bricksmaven. Inthink this is kind of comparable to acss+frames, but without recurring costs. True, its still very fresh software, but it does what it‘s supposed to. Im currently building a website with CORE and Bricksmaven sections. Works well so far.
How do you stop your clients from messing around with this design once you have delivered it? Im in the same situation but I dont want to give them free bricksbuilder (I have the unlimited licence). Thanks for a good video!
Good question. Depends. For the most part, our clients are NOT editing their homepage, which is normally built entirely with Bricks. We use lots of custom post types, and some of the build in this video would be controlled by CPTs and queries (i touch on that for the logo slider part) and clients are able to edit and access any CPTs. Looking forward to Bricks components, which, if you're familiar with them in Figma, will unlock another layer where Clients are IN Bricks, but not able to mess ANY design. Hoping its more or less locked down like edit mode.
like frames, but as an entire component with fields to enter your data: imagine a card with an icon, description, button, and image - and there are styles and classes to each element/atom of the component, but it's saved as a global component, so even clients could use them almost as a premade element we can create and control styling of. i'm explaining it poorly haha but itll be cool
yes agree and thanks for the feedback. there are not 1, not 2 but 3 large construction projects right near me. i'll try better. hope you enjoyed otherwise
yes, i apologize. lots of loud construction nearby and i was constantly tweaking the settings. check out some of my more recent videos and see if you think the sound is better. thanks

Awesome tutorial Brendan! More videos like this using real-world examples with frames and acss please.
glad you enjoyed it. i'd like to do more if people find it useful. def want more people to get into the whole ecosystem
Interesting to see Frames and ACSS in a real example. Thank you
thanks glad you liked it!
if you have an idea for what to build next, let me know
@@BrendanOConnellWP I think an another video like you made would be great. Website recreation are always interesting to watch & learn :)

Love it homie! keep them coming

@Justin-Bamforth found it finally. it was from play.divi.express/saas-landing-20/ divi.express/ theyve got some other nice ones too.
@@BrendanOConnellWP thank you, yours looks great also now.
I'm currently halfway through but I have one issue to raise. Bev works in marketing, not accounting.
