This reminded me of my great-grandfather. In 1920 he was 16, and ran from home to be a firefighter (his mom had forbidden him bc it was dangerous and he was the only man in the house) and threatened to not come home until she agreed; he felt it was his destiny. So he became a firefighter (it paid A LOT of money, especially for his family of farmers after 1917 "the year of the hunger"). When he came home with his first salary, his mother CHASED AND BEAT HIM WITH A STICK because this was so much money that she was sure he had stole it!! He became a capitain and was the Head Firefighter for 40 years, with handfuls of medals for his actions after big earthquakes and floodings in the whole country, so He was right.

And it warms my heart see children smile. Too often we are forced to grow up quickly because of circumstances we didn't ask for. I swear my heart can't take all the warmth that it was just exposed too by watching that video. But I welcome it nonetheless.
