Hey announcers. Why don't you know how to pronounce Chou's name correctly? Have you never seen her before? She is the World Champion after all. You pronounced her name as Cho, and then later as Chu. Her name contains the letter O AND the letter U. Not just an O or not just a U. Chou is the same pronunciation as the word chow. If you couldn't figure it out then use the name everyone else calls her - Rita. Didn't know that either I suppose? You really need to pronounce names correctly!
The Taiwanese woman who works in my laboratory (and whose name is Chao, pronounced "chow") assures me that the name Chou is pronounced "Cho." In future, ask a Chinese person before you get all aggressive.
Two of the best players in the world!
Great match! Congrats Rita!
Thanks for sharing the match. Also, glad you have turned up the sound a little. Sometimes it's been hard to hear the comments!
