I can’t believe he said the video of the forest was for “suicide awareness”
That was his intention. The purpose of him filming that body was to show us the disturbing reality of death, and what it does to us, as humans, so we can see that suicide is not really worth it. To show us how perfectly capable, walking, talking standing human beings can become lifeless. To get us to value our lives more. I'm not saying it was a good idea to film someone's body; its completely disrespectful; all I'm saying is that I see his point.

Logan did not deserve the backlash he got, most of it is coming from the people who really don't care but want to agree with everyone else as to make themselves look good on the internet, the video had 600K likes before pewdiepie tweeted that it was a bit tasteless there is a dead body in the thumbnail, RUclips let it go through without demonetising it even saying it was fine until the backlash.
