My man. Ive been looking for a creative outlet. Im not even into anime, but i remember how mind boggling akira was the first time i saw it. Im getting chills thinking about it. Going to buy some glass, paint, and brushes next paycheck. Ill come back to this comment to update.
Hi, congratulations it's very nice. The problem in my case is the markers.. the lines are not perfect, they are smudged. Is the problem the marker or the plexiglass? Thanks for the reply.
hello! I have learned a lot watching your videos. thank you. I would like to ask you a question. I'm from Mexico and they don't sell the sharpie paint oil based ultra fine marker here. I have been looking for it on Amazon but I find 2 types of markers. one is like the one you show in the video that has a pink ribbon and says oil based. and the other one is like in the photo that you show that only says sharpie paint. will there be any difference? it is that in costs the first one is more expensive. and since I'm going to spend I would like to buy the right one... thanks for your help!
Hey dude! I've been having alot of trouble with the correct combo of materials. I tried lining with the identipen but don't like how you have to do multiple layers to get it opaque (just because it's not AS clean as I'd like then). Then I just tried using the sharpie oil pen which did great lines but as soon as I added my paint it warped the lines and smudged?? I'm using Angelus leather Acrylic paints. Are these wrong to use? I'm so confused as I've watched heaps of your videos and they're great but I can't figure out a perfect paint plus oil pen combo. :( Thanks in advance!!!
Can you use the same types of paint on acrylic glass instead of normal glass, or do you have to use different types of paint. Doing a project and would like to use acrylic glass instead of glass to draw on and was wanting to kmow if that is feasible or possible with acrylic glass?
Drying time differs. Depends on quality of the paint. A faster way to do it is to not do colors that are next to each other. This way one color is drying while you are doing the other. Finishing time also differs depending on size and detail. In this art patience pays off. Hope this helps.
I'm a litte late to the video, but I've just got into this hobby and tried it for the first time after watching you tutorial which was very useful ^^ But my outline lines are hideous, how do you make yours so straight? Is is just practice? Thank you :)
Hi Doris. Yes you hit the nail on the head. It takes practice. Keep practicing and before long your lines will be great. Also don’t be afraid to use the exactly knife to scrape and correct mistakes.
Question for you..... I thought you said acrylic paint will crack and that it’s better to use enamel paint? Please let me know. Thank you.... I have been following you in all videos before I start...
I use to use enamel paints. But the strong smell kinda made me stop. What I said and also demonstrated in my other videos is that a good quality acrylic paint is what you need. The low quality ones will crack. I always use the blick brand, liquitex or Golden to get good results. Decoart or low quality paints of that nature would most likely crack when used for glass art.
That's extremely beautiful and thank you for showing how that's done. I've always thought it was extremely hard. Still thanks for showing the steps.
You’re welcome, my friend.

Awesome, man! Keep me posted.
You always make it seem so easy to do,that's very motivating.
Thank you. The harder I work the easier it looks, lol
I am planning on doing a Naruto glass painting as a gift for my brother, so glad I found your account before I started.
I’m glad you found me also. Good luck with the glass painting, my friend.
Really want to pick up an easy hobby and this really interests me.
Now you know everything you need to know to get started.
I want to start doing this, so I am learning first. Thanks for your help... you are a master.
Thank you so much. Glad I could help.
Very helpful video. Thanks.
@@DanielSpat you’re very welcome.
Thank you so much for all your advice, they have really helped me a lot for my glass paintings. I watch your videos from Ecuador. 🇪🇨❤️✨

Good stuff.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS VIDEO

How exactly do you use these glass paintings? Like how do you hang them or stick to the wall?

The Angelus paint is not the correct paint. You have to use a nice mid to upper quality acrylic paint.
@@Theartofkirkabrigo thanks heaps for the reply! I'll definitely try other paint options then. Love your videos you're a great artist!
@@emilycarmusic Thank you so much, Emily.

Yes you can use acrylic paint on acrylic glass. Works just the same. Good luck with your project.
How long do you wait between each color to dry? Also how long would you say it takes to complete one painting session start to finish?

thanks sir 🖖🖖
Before painting on glass do u need to prep the glass at all? Like wipe it down with something at all?

I wonder if someone can put multiple anime glass together into on giant picture frame.
he did do one video that was a 3D layered glass painting. Here is the link: ruclips.net/video/Or5LSIKAqFI/видео.html
I would really love to see that.

What brand of enamel do you use ?
How do u resize mobile photo into different size/ inches
Hey dude I wanna draw anime glass KeyChain which need super finetip .
Any suggestions for that?
Check amazon for fine tip brushes. Also invest in a magnifying glass. Also patience when doing it. Don’t rush and trust the process.
@@Theartofkirkabrigo you mean painting brushes?
I shouldn't do it with pen?
@@noob4453 if you’re talking about the lines then i would say use the fine tip side of the sakura identipen.
@@Theartofkirkabrigodo you have any insta Handel where I can talk with you about this!
@@Theartofkirkabrigo i do have the identi pen but it's fine tip is still to big for drawing eyes .
I know it's called anime glass painting but could one use plastic picture frames as well? The texture is similar, right?
Absolutely. You can use plastic or acrylic glass as well.
@@Theartofkirkabrigo Okay, sounds like I know exactly what to do with those picture frames on our attic now!^^
Thank you so much for answering!
So what do i do with the big tube of acrylic?
Use it a little at a time.
@@Theartofkirkabrigo 😂 no what i meant was if that is for mixing with some type of tint or they come in different colors. Really new in this field
@@poured_treasures nothing special required. For darker or light versions of any color just use black or white.
@@Theartofkirkabrigo thank you so much
