Monthly RTD Webinar - Asset AI

To kick off the monthly RTD webinar series, the IPWEA NSW & ACT Chief Engineer Joshua Devitt and Asset AI Project Manager Nicholas Havyatt will provide an update on the Asset AI Project. They will also discuss the development of machine learning tools to streamline ongoing council road maintenance activities.
Asset AI is a digital platform designed to improve the efficiency of routine maintenance activities and to reduce overall risk to users of the local road network. The platform is being developed via a partnership between the Roads and Transport Directorate, Transport for NSW and Deloitte. The platform utilises the latest advancements in automated detection of road defects to provide consistent, high quality data on the condition of all roads within an LGA, and triages these defects based on their overall risk.
