I never really got Naruto. A guy with spuiky blonde hair in a tracksuit... Okay. And it's the classic anime -"The hero is considered to be a failure by everyone even though he's revealed to be stronger than everyone basically in the very first episode" plothole trope. But my nephew is into it, so I'll probably get these. He's more looking forward to Oshimaru though.
He isn’t even powerful from the start he actually works hard to achieve/unlock his strength and you actually get to see him legit train himself to get stronger and even still in the beginning there were equally strong or stronger characters (heros as well) than Naruto as the story progresses. Even with all that training he did and how strong he grew towards the end, In the final arc sasuke beats him at final valley which leads into him training much more harder with jiraiya for 3 years before the next show starts.
