I really see it as utter BS that poor, sad, and lonely Elena got with Damon and I absolutely despised his character Damon was a pretty terrible person throughout the whole series, but obviously it's okay because it's Damon. I think how Julie made Damon have a happy ending is totally unfair, but not Niklaus like he really deserved a happy ending. I was so pissed off at both endings. Julie's a pitiable director.
