Why do you reviewers always cry about budget phones because they don't have premium hardware? I bought this phone today, and it runs great compared to a lot of phones in it's price point. I had a Pixel 3a, and this phone has way faster speed on WiFi because of the hardware in it. You and every other person who reviews these phones and downplays them need to stop being biased and appreciate what is given with the price.
This is the phone I'm using now and I've had it for a few months now as well but about the "muted" colors on the screen you were saying... Well there is an option in the settings in display where you can change how vibrant the phone screen color is.. perhaps you've overlooked that but overall very accurate review and it's about the same experience I've had with my Moto Power G (2021) and I have the 64gb storage/4gb ram version which plays games very excellent by the way and overall I'm very impressed with this phone

Hi just got this phone brand new on eBay for 189 it is amazing yes it’s an android so if you’re used to the iPhone you have to do a little bit of re-learning but I love this phone. It’s much bigger than my iPhone X and just as good in every way for about $1000 less why would anyone buy an iPhone
Take the perfectly fine Moto G Power. Downgrade the cpu from a 665 to a 662, which is essentially the 665 reject bin and draws 9 watts instead of 5, with a weaker DSP and modem and ISP... reducing battery life, supports Bluetooth 5.0 instead of 5.1, doesn't support full carrier aggregation so it's modem is slower, doesn't support Dolby audio, and doesn't record in 4k... Downgrade the ram from 4GB to 3GB, and storage from 64gb to 32gb, while cutting the SSD speed in half. Downgrade the screen from 1080p IPS to 720p TFT, and remove the wide angle camera. Oh, also, remove the ability to record in 4K, and take the amazing stereo speakers, and downgrade it to a mono speaker. Reduce the max charging speeds from 18w to 15w. Re-release as the Moto G Power (2021) and hope nobody notices... Profit? What the fuck Motorola!?!? You shouldn't have spent a cent on research and development. You should have taken the 2020, released it in brand new colors, maybe make a metal back version for shits and giggles for an extra $50, and called it 2021, while also throwing in an extra year of updates for everyone, both versions.
Murphy's law of planned obsolescence: take #$@# out till it stops working (including material & wire thickness, longevity), put back the last $#$@# you took out. Done!
Banging my head on the walls for 2 days now ... is there an easy way to copy or save your contacts from your latest gen of Moto G phones (Power, Play, Stylus, etc) to the SIM card? The only way to back them up seems to be as a vcf file 😁 ... on other Android phones there is a straight way to backup your contacts to the SIM card 😄
Battery life is about the same between both so you might as well get the 2020 Moto G Power for cheaper plus last year's model had 4K 30fps option and dual speakers.
@@jevonsims900 broke my 2020 today and drove all over the city looking for another and nobody sold the unlocked version I was looking for. Had to settle for the 2021. I may fix my screen on the 2020 and keep this 2021 as backup eventually. I loved my 2020 moto. :(
It depends how you use your phone. I have the 64 GB version and when I work my job, I have to use a special app that uses most of my battery life and I have to recharge the battery at the end of the day. However, during my off days, when I don't have to use the app, I can easily go two or three days without having to recharge. ALso, making video calls will also use more battery life at a faster pace. Again, its just how the phone is being used.
It's the worse phone I've had ever . Only had it 3 months and it's battery went from great at first to draining the heck out of it . Also , the notifications get stuck on the screen and the service is super horrible . Google maps can't even verify where I am at half the time . Just horrible overall sheesh .
one of the worst phone I've ever owned it's slow and when I say slow I mean like it take 4 or 5 min. to load a RUclips video also random shut down when ever it wants to OH ya also drop calls to its so bad that some time I get like 15 text messages all at once because it get kind of like clogged up so you can go maybe a day and say to your self I haven't received a text today than all at once your phone goes crazy and I get all those texts at once what ever you do not buy this phone you will regret it just like me
I have a blue screen that pops up on top of the screen when the phone rings. It only recently started to do that after two years, so apparently I accidentally activated it. How can I remove this?
My old boost phone sucks so I thought why not get a G power and check out this new "expanded network". Phone is ok but I don't like that it requires wifi for setup. And this EXPANDED NETWORK is a JOKE! I can sit my phone in one place and one second I have almost full signal, the next i have like 1 bar of signal. Sometimes LTE just disappears, until I restart phone. And the HOTSPOT is HOT GARBAGE!!! Called boost for help. After 1 hour and 15 minutes they successfully shut off my phone all together. 20 minutes later after being hung up on 3 times the tech got my phone working the same as when I called to complain. It would really help if I could speak to a customer service rep. who's first language is ENGLISH! SWEET F#*K!!! I am SO SICK of boost mobile!!!

Is there anything we can do to fix the camera mine sucks it's so bland and fuzzy
It would be great if phone reviews would talk about call quality, signal strength / reception testing, stuff like that.
That stuff is dependent on your carrier, not the phone.

How the camera when taking pictures compare to your other phones in past?
