Love your descriptions.. specially this one. Question, between this super doa or the custom x camber, are they similar? What would you recommend for a better all-mountain advanced rider? Perhaps more of an all-mountain-freestyle. Thanks!!
Would you still recommend the Union Ultra with this board like the 2023 you reviewed? I dont see why you wouldn’t if not much has changed. Also were you still experiencing the limitations or back foot ‘kick outs’ you mentioned were prominent with the 2023 model ?
I’d go 154 for sure. I’m 180 5,11 and rode a 22 and 23 super in 154. Get a new capita every year and went back to the outsiders in a 154. Great board, but just be aware capita durability isn’t the greatest, if you’re paying full retail…might be better options. This guys review is pretty damn good.
Angry snowboarder!!! How does this compare to the nitro team pro? I was in a toss up between the two but decided to go with the team pro and save some cheddar which one would you have chose?
Hey it seems that the carve problem from last year is gone, or atleast you did not mention it. Do you think it is different deck than last year? Also pairing it with the Union Strata is no go I guess.... Rome Catana better fit for this deck? Thanks Avran.
@@ChrisZ901 THanks. My question is it different that last years. Last years was reported to have a washy hard carving capabilities. So I want to know If this year is a better board than last years since there is a 40% discount.
What size for me? I’m 190 6’0. I have a freeride board, I want a second board as my daily/freestyle board. I was recommended the 158, or the 155w if I want to go more freestyle, I really want to the 155w, is that a good idea or too small?
Review got me thinking: is there such a thing as a base that's too fast? My knee-jerk reaction is, fuck no. Send it, son. Buuuut if my style is fast to begin with, I don't ever worry about casing a knuckle. With a rocket like this, you're popping into space and as the man said, speed checking all over creation so as not to freakin send it to the flats. I hate sending it to the flats. That's spine through bumhole time. None of you fine folk need to see that.

My 18yr old son just moved to BC. Just picked this board up! Im stoked for him!
The camber profile is similar to DC PLY😊
this board is a beast
Love the video! Liked, already subscribed ;). These with Atlas or forces?
Depends on how much response you want.
@@AngrySnowboarderultra maybe?? Atlas def better but curious about the ultra
Hard choice between this and the comparable boards!

No.

You can do whatever you want with this board. Ultras solid, Force is good, maybe you want something stiffer then go with the Atlas. No.
@ thanks
Board size recommendation? 5’10” 165-170lbs, 9.5 boot. Advanced rider, 80-90days a year, all mountain including park boxes, rails, s/m jumps.
I’d do like a 56 to 58 depending what your all mountain to park breakdown is.

Is this board really lightweight? Or at least one of the lightest capita's?
MegaDeath is the lightest.
Super DOA is very light

any chance of a review of a any of the new Sims boards? I've been wanting to see what's going on with them
Kinda doubt it
Magic 8 ball says outcome not so good
@@AngrySnowboarder shake it again
Outcome unlikely.
@@AngrySnowboarder fine, I'll go ask Tommie Bennett! He will tell me the truth
How would this or the Mega merc compare to the Burton custom camber? Obviously the custom is full camber but in terms of flex, pop dampness etc…
They're better.
is there a GNU/LibTech board with a similar profile to this, or are ALL of the Mervin boards rocker/banana in the center?
They have 16 camber profiles.
in your opinion what is the most significant difference between the Super DOA and the Mega Merc ?
Setback
@@AngrySnowboarder otherwise the ride characteristics of the boards are fairly similar ?
