From November 25 to 29, Malaysia experienced the country’s worst floods in ten years. With the advent of heavy monsoon rainfall, floods that were originally regarded as common natural phenomena have exceeded all expectations this time, bringing devastating consequences to Malaysia.
Heavy rains began to hit the northeastern and east coast areas of Malaysia in mid-November, and then quickly spread to many states across the country. In just a few days, floods inundated large areas, forcing hundreds of thousands of people to flee their homes and seek shelter. Residents were trapped in their houses, traffic was paralyzed, and infrastructure was severely damaged. This natural disaster caused huge trauma to the country.
As the heavy rains continued to intensify, floods quickly spread to many states in Malaysia. According to the National Disaster Command Center, a total of 9 states were severely affected, and more than 28,000 families and nearly 95,000 people were forced to evacuate to 527 temporary shelters to seek shelter.
The worst-hit was the northeastern state of Kelantan, which borders Thailand. 63,761 people in the state were evacuated from their homes, accounting for two-thirds of the total number of people affected by the disaster. In neighboring Terengganu state, 22,511 people were also displaced.
In addition to these two northeastern states, Johor, Kedah, Perlis and other states also suffered severe flooding. According to statistics, as of the end of November, more than 80,000 people have been transferred to 467 temporary shelters in 7 states.
"The flood level is too high and we really can't move our belongings to a safe place," a Pattani resident said painfully. "We can only watch helplessly as they are washed away."
Prolonged heavy rains caused many rivers to burst their banks and floods ravaged towns. Video showed that water in some areas had reached rooftops, and houses and roads were completely submerged.
"The situation here is worse than in 2014," Ira Majid, a resident from Kelantan, said worriedly. "The whole town is paralyzed and everyone is worried."

每一年都有水灾。每次灾情过后政府都不做事情。人们也继续住在那个地方。

每次的灾难都会让我们对人类与世界更深入的觉悟认知。
马来西亚华人不会因为水灾而幸灾乐祸，我们也深受其害，只是政府的腐败历经了数十年，水灾已经是每一年都会发生的事，政府却从来不会在灾难的根源去寻求答案，只会眼巴巴的让灾难一直发生，其实如果政府能够把基本设施做好，水灾是可以减低或避免的，但是贪污腐败和无能，用人不当已经让这个国家瘫痪。我们唯有叹息。
全球温室效应导至水位上升，气候变迁，雨量多。强如美国，世界各地都发生水灾。就连沙漠的杜拜都难逃水患。泰国南部和马来西亚东海岸的地形都是处于低地。加上海水倒灌，影响程度肯定深。很多水灾都发生在半开发的乡村。现在的每一个小区都有各自的集水塘。集水塘的面积就如一个足球场。深度两三米。可把整个小区的雨水排入集水塘。问题的产生是排水沟堵塞。国民的清洁意识很低。随意丢拉圾。政府没做事是一厢情愿的说法。基建佳的吉隆坡也一样水灾。
@ng1270 如果明知道會發生水災，是不是可以做很多預防的工作，或者做很多救災的準備。幾十年了，我們的政府有做嗎？我活了六十多年，體驗水災數十載，每一年都是如是，當事情已經發生了才亡羊補牢，這就是馬來西亞最好的寫照！

每年都有东北季候风带来大暴雨，靠南中国海的东海岸年年都发生大水灾。
台风🌀没有 ，洪水 年年都报道。。。
但是每個月都會淹水幾次
看看地图不難理解,每年的東北秀侯风从南中国海带来大量的雨风,毫无阻挡的直吹马来亚半島東北方,印尼就完全没有影响,反之到了吹西南季候风时就輪到印尼倒大霉😂
