    Sbardella is making some fantastic guns. He seems to be a grade above the big box customs.

      I definitely agree with you. I think it’s worth waiting for, especially if you can just get the basic one for $3500 with just a couple options. To me that is bang for your Buck. 😊🇺🇸😎👍

    Nice video Beretta Sr. I would be pretty pissed if a $5k 1911 had to go back to the manufacturer. Plus I wouldn’t trust it for SD work with that safety issue and a trigger under 3 Lbs even with a manual safety.
    Loving that Sbardella Arms. Beautiful 1911. Wish I could purchase one since I’m in New England but I live in MA. 🙄

    Nice comparison! I think you're correct about the Cabot thumb safety. I'm a Southpaw and I've had similar issues over the decades with/as different manufacturers handle their 'right side' ambi thumb safety designs differently (RIAs are awful, btw...). Nowadays if I need to add the ambi, I just default to Wilson Combat. Theirs always work. 👍👍

    • @BERETTA9mmUSA
      @BERETTA9mmUSA  Год назад +2

      Thanks for the info Sir! Yes we agree. We have not had good luck at all with RIA. We have had great luck with Springfield Armory GI Models and pretty good luck with Tisas in lower cost 1911 pistols. I had lots of nice things to say bout this Cabot in this video, so I was trying to be completely fair and honest. It is the right thing to do, even if I plan to sell it. All the best Sir. 😎🇺🇸👍😊

      Yes I agree. I have never experienced that with all the 1911 pistols I have ever tried. It’s a good warning to watch for no matter if it’s Cabot Arms or other makes and models out there. Thanks for watching! 😎🇺🇸👍

    Awesome video BERETTA 9mm and the Sbardella is beautiful so is the Cabot to. How do you two feel about extended guide rods on 1911s. I have a few 1911s with them on and have had no problems with the function of the guns. Thanks Slim.

    • @BERETTA9mmUSA

      We are truly good with both guide rod styles, as long as they are near 100% reliable. We have changed a couple to GI Style, but it is not a must.

    That is an interesting design on the Cabbot safety. Sarcasm Mode ON: That thing reminds me of a Jaguar having to be in the shop more than you drive it. Or, If John Moses Browning had designed an Ambi safety, It would work. Sarcasm Mode Off:
    You got some plunger tube springs around there. Change it out and see if it changes. Thank you for yet another thing to look for in checking one out. I don't like a mushy safety and found one or two that have an easy snick on safe with tight off safe. For me that is perfect. One i've been drawn to lately is Guncrafter Industries. Definitely worth a look.

    • @BERETTA9mmUSA
      @BERETTA9mmUSA  Год назад +2

      I had 7 Dan Wesson 1911 pistols in 2015 to 2017 time period, before I sold half of them to buy 5 or 6 Les Baer 1911 Pistols. The Dan Wessons are a very good 1911 and should be considered along with the Springfield Armory TRP & Springfield Armory Operator. I also have a video up on the Blue Standard Manufacturing 1911 that is very good for that price range. So Dan Wessons and a couple others to check out. All are pretty awesome! 😊😎🇺🇸👍. Beretta Sr.

    Hey guys, I just have one quick question. I currently own a Les Baer commander size pistol. If I wanted to special order a Les Baer pistol the way I wanted, how or who would I go through so I don’t wind up with the short end of the stick? Thank you always for your service! JH

    • @BERETTA9mmUSA
      @BERETTA9mmUSA  Год назад +1

      Les Baer does not take private citizen orders. You have to go through a Les Baer Dealer. If you call Les Baer Customer Service and tell them what State & major city you are close to, they will be able to send you to a reputable dealer near your area. I would never put more than half the money down. Just as a precaution, if you know what I mean. All the best,

    If I spent $5200 on a firearm I would expect it to be FLAWLESS all the time. I get that it is a Machine and things break but safeties inadvertently engaging is not right. That is a QA issue of which for $5200 there should be be none!!!

      @@BERETTA9mmUSA awesome. I love your videos of the Standard Manufacturing 1911. That’s the one I have my eyes set on. It seems like a winner. I remember you had issues with one particular Dan Wesson 1911 but it seems you are okay with them. No worries there-they’re great 1911s. I just really like the classic look of the Standard M.
